My First Splinterlands Season - First Post (Giveaway Included)

I started playing Splintersland just 9 days ago, and oh boy what a journey it has been! I got to SILVER 2 with my Stater Cards. I didn’t think about money, and that is why I got real fun.

First of all, I would like to thank those who helped me to understand the basics of the game, and supported me. I can’t thank enough @sayee and @hossainbd you two are amazing!

My Favorite Summoners And Monsters

My Favorite Summoners are Malric Inferno, Alric Stormbringer.

My Favorite Monsters are:

Fire: Serpentine Spy.

Because it has the Opportunity ability. It attacks the enemy monster with the lowest health. And with the fire summoner Malric, it will have a increased 1 meele attack, with the other fire summoner Pyre, its speed will become 4! Which is a lot in lower leagues I guess. It costs only 3 Mana! Easy to pick when you have that highest 4 mana rule!

Water: Venari Wavesmith.

I just got this card in season rewards. But I hated this card when opponents used it against me. It has the Protect ability. It gives +2 armor to all friendly monsters. It is also a magic monster, and with Summoner Alric, it gains a +1 magic attack! Mana cost is 5, and it's okay I guess! It's a rare monster btw.

Death: Haunted Spirit

It has a hitpoint of 7. It is my go-to card for death. I put it in the first row. Very few tankers in level 1 have 2 speed I guess. It has the healing ability. It can heal itself. Which is great for a first row/initial mosnter. It cost 5 Mana, which is actually pretty good.

Life: Shieldbearer

It has a massive 9 hit points and 4 armor. Any Life summoner will increase its armor or health by 1 more. The interesting thing is it has the Taunt ability, Means all enemy monster will target it while they can. And your rest of the monster can do the work meanwhile. It cost 8 mana, which is totally worth it.

Dragon: Serpentine Mystic

This is a rare dragon monster. It has the Affliction ability. It means when it hits a target, the target might not be healed. It costs only 3 mana! I hardly use the Dragons TBH.

Earth: Unicorn Mustang

This is a rare earth monster, which is my go-to card. It has a huge hitpoint and very good speed. It costs 8 mana. It has a unique ability, Void. It means it will cause reduced magic attacks. This is great for the first row. One of the best earth monsters for lower leagues.

Neutral: Sand Worm

My most favorite neutral monster. It costs 9 Mana though. It has snipe ability. This means it will attack the last monster of the enemy team instead of the first. It has a massive 5 melee attack. I use it often with Malric, which gives it an additional 1 melee attack. It's slow, but when it hits it gets the job done. It's great for when the REVERSE SPEED rule applies.

Most Interesting Match I Faced:

My Journey in Ranked Battle:

I made it to Silver 2 within 5 days. Well, I couldn’t reach Silver 2 due to lack of powers. It’s easy to climb through the lower leagues IMO. I didn’t even play that much. All you need to do is try to understand the game.

I got my first season rewards and it felt so good. I guess this is the most cherished and interesting thing for players. Here is what I got in my last and only season.

What is Splintersland?

Splinterlans is a blockchain-based, collectible card game. You can play and earn money through it. Yes, Money! You heard it right! Actually, you will earn in-game rewards which are crypto, and you can cash it.

One of the major sources of earning money/reward is winning a ranked battle.

The fun thing is the cards here are generated by non-fungible token (NFT) technology. So each card is unique. All cards are limited in numbers, it has a certain value. There are other unique items as well like potions, dice, lands, and customized skins. You can delegate, gift, or sell them for money or crypto.

Splinterlands is growing fast. It is one of the best NFT-Based games if not the best. And it will keep getting better. It will rock the market again after the Chaos Legion launches, IMO.
