Greeting my frineds and rivals and welcome to my weekly challenge post.
The weekly challnge revolve around WAVE RUNNER.
Wave Runner is one of those cards that I really like, yet rarely use. My water splinter is mostly based on magic attack monsters, which is probably why I rarely use this card.
Wave Runner Strength and weakness
Strength points:
- Reasonable cost of mana.
- 2 melee damage & and 3 speed.
- Reach ability.
Weakness points:
- With a 4 hp wave runner depends on the ability of the frontliner to absorb damage.
- Monsters with blast ability can counter him.
Preparing for battle
After reviewing the teams my opponents have placed in his previous battles, I came to the realization that he makes great use of (magic attacks). also the rules of the batlle was (fog of war) so I prepared accordingly.
Other points I took into account when preparing for battle:
- Only water and life splinters were possible for the battle.
- A respectable amount of mana to use.
I planned my strategy in accordance, and thus the key points in my startegy was:
- Frontliner with a lot of HP and who Magic resistant (the void ability).
- Choosing Bortus which will reduce the opponent's magic attacks.
- Placing a demented shark as a back liner, for the inspire ability.
To Battle!

My opponent had met my expectations. Once again he relied on magic attacks. But he also use some range attack. He also used Torhilo and thus made my only magic monster useless for the first round of the battle.
Here you can see the start of round 2, a moment before Axemaster & Water elemntal slay my Tohrilo. Once that happened the battle was over. My awoesome Wave Surfer fell for a cruel magic attacks.
And one by one all my back linear fell too...
Although I was expecting a team that my opponent would build, I failed to choose the right team to handle the task. Yet the battle was a closed one, so no shame here!
@crazyfox you won fair and square! but it isn't over we will meet again...

I don't understand why you didn't use the Demented Shark at the first position and the Wave Runner at the second.
My opponent used alot of magic attacks in his last battles. My strategy was to attack from behind a tank with a void ability.
The ranged attack was the surprise for me... And the reason for my failure...
