I'm here to talk about the Fire and Regret ruleset match and the team I used for it. I'm hoping that by sharing my experiences, I'll be able to provide some useful insights to other players. Here are the main points I'd like to discuss:

• Let me provide you with the specific monsters I included in my team for the Fire & Regret ruleset battle. I'll describe their abilities and roles, as well as any synergies I utilized. By sharing this information, other players can gain a better understanding of how to construct their own teams for this ruleset.
• Throughout my battles in the Fire and Regret ruleset, I encountered various challenges and learned valuable lessons. I discovered unexpected synergies and effective strategies, and I also faced formidable opponents. Sharing these experiences can provide insights and help other players enhance their gameplay.

The match took place on the IGN @subashtechy.
The format of the match is Ranked-Modern-Gold league.

BATTLE MAGE RULESET:

RULESET: Fire & Regret

Description:

All units receive the Return Fire ability at the start of the battle. Enemy units that attack with ranged attacks receive damage back.

Damage returned is equal to damage of the attacker divided by 2, rounded up.
Ranged attack units with the Reflection Shield ability do not take damage from reflected magic attacks.
The Amplify ability increases damage.

About my Team:

Harklaw as tank with reduced damage to with stand return thorns attack,
Will-O-Wisp to reduce opponent health with weaken ability and can also use as secondary tank,
Arkemis the Bear only option is for shield and to fill the team,
Venari Spellsmith for magic dispel and ampify,
Venari Bonesmith for magic life leaching poison,
Magi Necrosi for magic snipe and camoflague.

I got +19196 Focus points towards my cheat with +0.526 SPS and +24 Rating

Battle Analysis:

• I was expecting opponent to use some martyr cards but i think even steven doesnt have martyr cards.
• I also had option to use stun which was another good option.
• Magic and melee attackers can bypass the Return Fire ability altogether. Since Return Fire ranged attacks, focusing on magic or melee based damage can help you bypass the reflected damage
• Monsters with abilities like "Weaken" or "Reduce Attack" can help lower the opponent's damage potential, minimizing the impact of Return Fire.
• Monsters with shielding abilities or damage mitigation skills to reduce the impact of Return Fire. Shields can absorb a portion of the reflected damage, while damage mitigation abilities like "Armor" can help reduce the damage taken by your team.
• Monsters with Healing or Triage abilities can provide sustainability to your team. These abilities can counteract the damage taken from the reflected attacks, helping your team last longer in battle.
• Monster with Amplify ability can reflect back an additional damage in any return attack rulesets.
• Monster with Rust ability can remove apponents armor and gives an aditional advantage on return fire.

Tips:

• In this battle I had option to use earth but i didnt use it because i planned to nerf his magic with my death time.
• Try to sacrifice your martyr in this rule sets if you have an martyr just to boost your adjacent monsters.
• Stick with melee and magic.
• Dont try to use Yodin archer because it will get reflected with 3 damages.
• If you dont have option for tank then use a good archer with tank health and use it in first position with some heal.
• You dont want to try Ilthain here because by default you have return fire.
• If you feel opponent will go for archer try using rathe if you have him available in battle,amplify and return fire with scrap his team to bottom.
