I feel like people get the two confused Free-to-Play vs Play-to-Earn. So many feel they are entlited to huge sums of DEC etc just because they play the game lol I mean the revenues have to come from somewhere!

It's going to be interested to see how the rest of the $4 packs go out and if packs are already selling for $10+ that's profit right there. For sure going to be a VERY interested end of the year.

Getting 1,000 packs would be nice, but I think I'll be settling for 1/10th of that given voucher prices, lol. It will be interesting to see what the prices of the actual Chaos Legion cards are like, since their collection power is going to be lower than Untamed/Dice.

thx for the update - much appreciated! it has been an interesting week to say the least...very exciting too! The most surprising might be the 30% drop we've seen in SPS!! Def thought it would tick higher given the increasing amt of SPS staked, start of CHAOS pre-sale and just overall sizzlin buzz around the game, it's been wild - thoughts!?! I know all of my sell limit orders are still sitting there comfortably above that $0.90 level seen just a week ago. Let's hope those positioned with much voucher planned to pay with SPS bc they were fully staked- ha! Fingers are def crossed, just need everyone to bid that SPS & the right minds to make the right decision regarding pack sales after the pre-sale concludes....bc they will leave just as fast as they came in - and then who is left holding the bag?

do you have a link to their API documentation?

thanks for sharing! hope i win next time!😀

Woo hoo! Thanks, Steve. Glad to see you are feeling a bit better. Hope you kick the rest of that cold quickly. And thanks for another informative video.

Great analysis as usual. I'm really surprised SPS when down this much, I thought it was going to rocket. However, I think it'll go back up at some point. I'll be hanging on to my little stash.

Will keep the packs.. just wait for the airdrops

Nice and informative content!

Glad to see the return of the wheel in videos. That's always fun.

As far as opening packs goes, I wouldn't, but I'm one of the most anti pack opening people in the game. I'd just buy a ton of packs for the bonuses and then sell the packs. That said, another Youtube recently crashed pack prices by telling everyone not to buy packs, so I don't know what they'll sell for.

your splinterlands contents in youtube are amazing keep it up sir.

Thank you for sharing information and thoughts on the Splinterlands ama and other aspects of the game.
Also a giveaway with 1000 DEC is a way to promote your video but also to promote Splinterlands. Great work keep up the good work!

Great video!

I want to talk about one section in particular. Aggroed selling his SPS. To be honest, I am vehemently against this. A founder or company executive selling SPS is akin to a CEO selling off his personal stock in his company. Regardless of what he says he did it for that sends off all sorts of red flags. The company has a treasury full of SPS especially now that users are using SPS to buy packs. If liquidity was a concern, then that is where SPS sales should come from, not his personal stock.

Aggroed is a smart guy but he doesn't seem to have much of a track record for running a business outside of Splinterlands and it clearly shows. He constantly makes decisions you don't see anywhere else in the business world. Part of this is good and brings a breath of fresh air but things like this is concerning. The man has been talking up SPS for the past month telling EVERYONE to stake it. Why wasn't his SPS all staked?

As this whirlwind of a project continues to grow I think he and the team need to start moving out of that small company mindset where pretty much anything goes into a more controlled environment. I'd like to start seeing regular external audits and published financials etc.

Also bringing in my curation account. Again, I found this video very informative. Also, if you are posting about Splinterlands, feel free to also use the #oneup tag. It is for another NFT gaming focused frontend.

I'm still having trouble deciding if I should buy packs with my vouchers [sell or keep the packs], or sell my vouchers. I'm leaning more on the sell the packs I get with my vouchers. Currently it's valued at 11USD. I essentially profit 7 USD, and get the packs added to my total. If vouchers climb to beyond 30 USD, I might be more inclined to just sell half my vouchers. Decisions decisions decisions.
