Over the last 2 weeks there's been a lot of heated discussions about battle helper, and the proposal to ban it.
After careful consideration of community feedback, we decided that battle helper is currently too pervasive and powerful. In the next few days we'll restrict it in certain places that are considered competitive.
Battle helper will be restricted from the following places:
- Tournaments
- Tier 3+ Brawls
- Champion leaderboard (Modern Ranked)
This change will happen regardless of the proposal's outcome.

The only problem is that private battle helpers will still be used everywhere and there is no way to stop them, doesn't matter if the proposal passes or not. I'd rather have all players have access to these tools than only a few whales.
