In this post I am going to tell you about my experience in Splinterlands, an NFT game that existed long before the word NFT became mainstream, it can easily be said that it is one of the most stable and profitable NFT games in the crypto space.
I started in October 2021, I bought the spellbook and the first thing I did was go to the qualifiers battles. I am sure that i lost my first 10 games, I was impressed by how difficult it was or how bad I was, although I liked that part, because I like challenges. I remember when I won my first battle I was all excited and wanted to know what I had won, NOTHING! What!?!?! How's that! I just spent 10 dollars to play and win! I discovered that I had to improve my power to be in a better league and be able to participate in the rewards, well, ill keep playing then! Hours later it seemed like an impossible task, I was frustrated seeing how i was getting destroyed, several days passed while I became familiar with the cards and tried to copy the strategies of those who swept the ground with me. I tried to read instructions to improve, read manuals, watch videos, but everything was very confusing, everything it was written mostly in a dialect that you can only understand when you have been around some time in the game, until I found my salvation, the videos of @splinterdany I remember that the first one I saw was how to rent cards, I rented my first cards, then I rented the cards that he recommended in one of his videos, a powerful combination of water to be invincible! Immediately winning 13 battles in a row!!! Maximum record that remains to this day, if you are new those videos are the best although I am still watching his channel! From then on I started renting cards like crazy, making mistakes, experimenting and falling more in love with the game, I also started to feed my collector side because if its possible I want to have all the cards! Although at that time prices were at an all time high and card prices were scary, the first $100 I invested was easily diluted...
R= Collecting cards, I love collecting, the drawings and graphics of the cards are worth collecting, besides they have a utility within the game.
The thrill of opening chests and packs! Now that they give Chaos Legion packs as rewards in chests, everything is more exciting! At this point I already have 3 packs from rewards! And im waiting for that golden one that will give me power one day!
What do you like least about the game?
R= What I like least is that my rentals are canceled one day before the end of the season!!! It is very common and I have to live with it while I reach my goal of 15 thousand points to at least be in silver 3 without having to rent power!
Favorite card I own?
R= Djinn Oshannus Without a doubt, he has the void ability, hits 2 magic, has 10 life, 8 mana and speed is 5!!! It is a very complete and useful legendary card, the first legendary that I bought, it is incredibly cheap for everything it offers!
My goal in splinterlans is to collect as many unique cards as possible in my main account, I also have another alt account. Reach silver 3 without having to rent power, I only have 2000 power left in my main account! but I want to repeat that in my second account, after I have 2 accounts in silver 3 I will create my third and last account and I will do the same! Take her to silver 3! From then on increase my main to silver 2 and so on the others, generally I reinvest everything and I have no reason to take the money out of the game so that helps me grow a little more faster and become more powerful in the game! I want to grow much more to start being able to buy the most expensive cards in the game, one day I would like the rents to be practically zero...
In summary Splinterlands is a game that I enjoy, for me it is worth investing and growing, is it profitable? Although I don't get money from the game, I see it as quite profitable, it gives the powe to buy good cards time to time, although I still invest an extra amount every month. For those who are looking for economic profitability, the investment is quite small and they will also find stability since Splinterlands will always be with us and will only grow!
