Hi! I'm Softy this is my second time participating on the Splinterlands contest. I wanted to bring some christmas spirit to my drawing this time! 🎄

¡Hola! Soy Softy, esta es la segunda vez que participo en el concurso de Splinterlands. ¡Esta vez quería darle un poco de espíritu navideño a mi dibujo! 🎄

I found this card and fell in love with these adorable animals! As soon as I saw them I knew they were perfect for a Christmas themed drawing. I got to learn how to draw a panda, red panda and snow leopard as babies!

¡Encontré esta tarjeta y me enamoré de estos adorables animales!¡Aprendí a dibujar un panda, un panda rojo y un leopardo de las nieves como bebés!

SKETCHING

I started blocking out basic shapes for these cuties and putting Santa hats on them! I was planning to give them different types of festive hats but in the end decided they should be matching.

¡Empecé a trazar formas básicas para estas bellezas y a ponerles gorros de Papá Noel! Estaba planeando darles diferentes tipos de sombreros festivos pero al final decidí que deberían combinar.

I lowered the opacity and made a cleaner sketch to make the lineart process easier and faster as well. I ussualy make a lot of different layers for sketches whenever I'm doing digital art, it makes me feel more confident of my lineart process!

Bajé la opacidad e hice un boceto más limpio para que el proceso del lineart también sea más fácil y rápido ¡Por lo general, hago muchas capas diferentes para bocetos cada vez que hago arte digital! ¡esto me hace sentir más segura en mi proceso de lineart!

LINEART

I started working on the lineart, I chose to do it in a brownish colour to make it look softer and adorable. This also meant that I had to adjust my colour palette to be on the softer side as well.

Bajé la opacidad e hice un boceto más limpio para que el proceso del lineart también sea más fácil y rápido. Esto también significó que tuve que ajustar mi paleta de colores para que también fuera más suave.

As soon as I was done with it I ecided to sketch out the background

Tan pronto como terminé decidí esbozar el fondo.

COLOURS & BACKGROUND

I layed out the flat colours, then Started laying down the lights and shadows, decided to make the background more simple as well, to keep focus on the baby animals.

Fui colocando los colores planos, luego comencé a colocar las luces y las sombras y decidí hacer el fondo más simple también para mantener el foco en los animales bebés.

It was fun watching them come to life as I kept adding colour to their fur, specially when it comes to the red panda. At this point I decided to make the background blurry.

Fue divertido verlos cobrar vida mientras seguía agregando color a su pelaje, especialmente cuando se trata del panda rojo. En este punto decidí difuminar el fondo.

I added a few more details as finishing touches, shine to their eyes and a bit of colour for the lineart so that the lines would be easier to see.

Agregué algunos detalles más como toques finales, brillo en sus ojos y un poco de color para el lineart para que las líneas fueran más fáciles de ver.
