Intro Last 2 Hall of Legend Promos

I was busy during the holidays and haven't posted about Splinterlands in a while. There's about ten more days until the last hall of legends promos sale ends. I want to share my thoughts on these last two promo cards as well as give my thoughts on how the overall sale went.

Warborn Shaman

Warborn Shaman is a dual element water and death unit with 10 mana. At max level, it has void armor, impede, ambush, poison , and self heal. There's a lot of potential use cases for this card. I can see it being used in magic only battles. The heal can come in handy in noxious fume battles. The card synergizes well with the current water and death magic units. I like how they made it 10 mana so it could get nuked by giant killer cards which is this card's main weakness. Other than that, this card is nuts. I think ambush is crazy because you could start off doing 3 damage and poisoning before the actual round starts. This card is a must have card at max level if someone wanted to purchase this card. I think level 6 would be ok as well.

Fizbo The Fabulous

Fizbo is an interesting 6 mana dual element fire and earth unit. I think the key thing to look at is the tank heal and the shroud of reflection shield. The tank heal is interesting because the fire element alone doesn't have any tank heal cards in modern at the moment. As for the shroud of reflection shield, I think it could be a good tech in explosive weaponry ruleset because people like to play Jacek. This unit can give surrounding units blast shield which would block a lot of that splash damage in that ruleset.

Leaderboard

I'm actually surprised that the community has spent almost half a million dollars buying these hall of legends promo cards. It's actually around 418k USD at current DEC price but I try to consider DEC at peg price because that's where it will eventually be. Anyways, I think this just shows how strong the Splinterlands community is and that people still believe in the potential. Let's not forget there's also the auction house going on concurrently.

I'm looking into potentially participating in the leaderboard. There are some alt accounts at the bottom of the leaderboard and I don't want them to win those titles. If you are also into Splinterlands, I hope you can join me in getting on that leaderboard so those pesky alts don't win. I might go for a lvl 2 fizbo. I'm still undecided on this or I might not go for it. It's a bit of a difficult decision. What do you think?
