For me, I never sell my cards. What you might not know is that you can lease the cards to other players for a rental income.

Keep playing and keep buying booster packs from the site because you will be eligible for airdrops sometimes.

Also, the cards will go up in value over time. They are a good investment, especially if you buy Alpha commons cards while they are still cheap.

I made the mistake of selling my Alpha packs on Hive-Engine while they were $9. They shot up to $60. Gah!

Invest in untamed packs but don't open all of them. Save them for a year and they will be worth a lot.

Plus, don't forget to keep posting about Splinterlands. You will get tokens on your Hive-Engine account. Always stake your tokens there because they earn interest.
