Today is the last day of 2025, the year really flew by, so today I would like to take a detailed look at my last Splinterlands season of 2025 as well as do a quick recap of my year on Hive thanks to the tool from @hivecreators which you can find at: https://recap.hivecreators.co

For those who would like a very quick view of my year on Hive in 2025 here is a graphic that represents it:

No surprise that my favorite communities were Splinterlands, Actifit and Finance and Economy, this basically represents a significant portion of my interests in life and on Hive blockchain.

Now lets dive in into the last Splinterlands season of 2025:

Season Summary

As you will see below, this was a very successful season for me, I played in both Modern and Wild leagues and was able to come back and finish in Champion Two in Wild league the first time in the last five seasons!

Here is a look at my recent performance in the Wild league represented graphically:

We see that not only I have finished in Champion Two, but I also had a significant improvement in my end rating. If you look at the table below you will see that my win percentage has been very decent at over fifty one percent.

Last Season results

I played only nineteen battles in a Modern league and while my win rate in modern was almost fifty eight percent, I have hard time justifying playing in Modern when I can get a lot more glint and SPS with my deck in the Wild format. As I am still very much focused on accumulating of the new reward cards I choose to play mainly in the Wild format.

Earnings and costs

As usual my main source of SPS rewards remains SPS Validator rewards, followed by Wild ranked rewards and staking rewards that were recently reduced so despite my larger stake the staking rewards have started to really fall behind the Wild ranked SPS rewards.

Despite the reduction of APR, on SPS staking I still plan to continue increasing my SPS stake as I believe that the use case for more SPS in the game is strong even with the reduced APR on SPS staking.

Reward draws purchased

As you can see from above an interesting dynamic is starting to develop with my Glint purchases, I don't have enough glint to buy the first tranche of Medium and Minor chests and I bought no Ultimate chests at all.

This is after the new rewards came out the cost of purchasing chest have gone up quite significantly and now I cannot buy even the first tranche of the chest where in the past I was able to buy all chest rarities.

Special items earned

I got a good number of energy representing over two days of playing energy, that is a fairly good luck, no land plots or packs as usual.

Cards earned

I earned a good number of card and I continue to strengthen my new reward cards.

League rewards

I failed to advance in the Modern league this season so all of my chests came from the Wild league.

Once again no land plots or packs, but I got a decent amount of energy.

I also got pretty good reward card results from the league advancement rewards. I had a couple gold card of Coralforged and one gold foil of Tandi Janda, those are always welcome!

Closing notes

Overall another solid Splinterlands season and I continue to accumulate Splinterlands assets. As you may know Splinterlands is running on Hive blockchain and one of the best ways to accumulate Splinterlands and Hive assets is to blog on Hive. This is also my last blog of 2025 on Hive.

As you can see most of my rewards on Hive came from Splinterlands related posts and curators, though ecency and ocdb were the two notable exceptions.

My conclusion from this is that I should continue to focus on Splinterlands content, but should also branch out into other areas of Hive.
