Recently, beginners have really had a hard time. The culprits are the many Splinterland bots and bot farms. But is it even worth it for beginners? Yes, under one condition.
You need to spend more money and time!
Beginners definitely have to invest more at the beginning and maybe everything takes a bit longer now. Especially the chests hardly bring cards in the lower leagues, here the chance for a card should still be increased because a beginner does not need so many potions, he just explores the game.
It also always depends on the eyes with which you see the game. Do you see it as a game? Then it doesn't matter if you get DEC. Do you want to earn money? Then invest money, as with any investment.
I play now for 2 weeks in which I only got 2 cards via chests, so I only had the option to invest more money in the game and it pays off. In the current season I'm already close to the Bronze 1 league again and currently I don't have to rent many cards. Through wise investments in certain cards, I'm still in the plus every day and have the Spellbook already out again.
Conclusion
Yes, it is frustrating as a new player. But as with any game, it helps to have perseverance. So here's my advice to all new players: Keep at it!
However, the developers should also accommodate the beginners a bit. Every game is kept alive by new players. I am afraid for the future of Splinterlands because of people who are quick frustrated.
Cheers.
Youre so true with the words youre are saying.
Its really hard to start good in this game. Especially when a new season starts its hard to get back to the higher Bronze leagues to earn some DEC.
I hope the devs will tweak it a bit to have an easier start in the game.
