Chaos Legion cards I invest in now

When the new cards appeared, I had to experience the unpleasant surprise as a not yet too experienced player that the starter set also changes. Many cards that I enjoyed playing with are missing. The only problem is that the price of these old cards has risen sharply in the meantime.

I will not make this mistake again. Therefore I will invest in some new cards.

What I observe

I observe that Splinterlands definitely wants to push dragons further into the foreground, so there are some new and strong dragon cards. I have therefore already bought some and also some on my watchlist for future purchases.

But now here are a few examples of which cards I got many.

I bought many of these cards

Desert Dragon (I paid $18)

The first card I bought that is rented throughout is the Desert Dragon. A legendary dragon card with very strong stats in my opinion and a great new ability. I paid $18 for the card and by now it is already at $25.

I think the Desert Dragon will go up even more once the situation calms down.

Chaos Knight (I paid $0.80)

As I wrote at the beginning, I don't make the same mistake and have great cards taken away as soon as another set comes after Chaos Legion at some point. That's why I invested in the Chaos Knight. I also love this card because the Life Splitter is very bad currently and the card already seems to be going up in value. Currently $1.

Mycelic Slipspawn (I paid $1)

Oh I love this card and apparently others do too. Earth is currently the new water and very strong as I find. It's fun to play with the Earth Shard right now especially with high mana caps. That's why I invested in this really popular card before it might be taken away from me again.

Fiends

These legendary cards which cost 0 mana and can even attack compared to the chicken I think are very strong and they would be worth an investment. Currently I'm even thinking about selling my Chicken, because these cards perform much better. But I think that the Furious Chicken already has cult status and won't go down in price that much. These Fiends could still rise significantly. Currently available for about $12.

Conclusion

Of course, I could be way off and these cards will actually go down. This is not investment advice and reflects only my personal opinion in which I have mentioned a few examples.
