Even with a very good win ratio it was a negative return on playing the game. That means renting cards to play Silver I exceeded the earnings.
Why i severybody so hyped about the new changes? Yes, everybody can / will receive mor rewards and chests. But, if you read the announcement closely, you will see, that the more you already have, the more you will get. Because in higher leages the chests will have better cards. That means, in lower leagues you will receive all the Heatsmiths further on. So new players will have a disadvantage again, when they start playing Splinterlands.

Adjusted power rquirements are partly good and partly bad. If yor rental is cancelled during a quest, you don't get all the rewards, if you reclimb into the higher league, when you rent new cards at once for power requirements.
