In this post, I'll share my battle using stone golem. In my opinion stone golem is somewhat underrated, not sure about the higher tier though. I don't rent expensive cards for battles, just the common ones. Sometimes you just need to pick the right cards for the right time to make them useful.
1 - Melee Attack

2 - Armor
6 - Health
Ability:
Shiel - Reduced damage from melee and ranged attacks.
The battle starts with this set of rules.
Melee Mayhem where melee can attack in any position.
Mana cap at 20 and Fire and Water splinter won't be able to use for this battle.
Then, I strategize my team based on the set of rules. Since the water splinter is not available I assume facing a magic damage team won't really hurt that much compared to Alric as the summoner where it adds +1 magic damage. Also based on the available splinter left, there are only a few magic damage cards on it and mostly melee and ranged. Being said, I took advantage of the ruleset. I look for a splinter where there is high melee damage and the Earth Splinter fits it perfectly since fire is not available.
I picked Wizard of Eastwood as summoner for the -2 armor and as you can see all my cards were melee with high damage. It can be a big disadvantage for me if my opponent had armor so I need to make sure that monsters will take damage on the 1st strike. Then, put Stone Golem in the 1st position where it fits perfectly with its shield ability.
Stone Golem plays a big role where it sustains damages on the earlier rounds, whereas Rexxie and Unicorn Mustang are the ones that deal damage.
