2025 has started and just like every year most people are making a whole fuss about it. To me 2025 is just like any other year although we are ageing. I’ve always believed that our goals shouldn’t be tied to years and all that. I believe if you have a goal you shouldn’t wait for a new year to come before you start working on it.

As long as you think of it, start working on it. You never know. Web 3 is a weird place and you never know when you star will shine.

Well, I am starting 2025 with my splinterlands social media post. Hopefully this year will end with me having more than the 20k sps I plan on having. One will ask why I’ve not set more than 20k sps goal? Well, I should have bug u am currently melting the almost 10k I have accumulated due to a few reasons so yh.

This year I hope I can have more wins which will translate to more sps and more glint so I can build my Dec. I would have said more games played but I do that already. Sometime the number of games doesn’t matter, it’s just the wins and if I can get that in place then I think I am going to be fine.

So now let us talk about a battle. In actual fact this is meant to be a post about a weird Ruleset combination which I struggle with.

The little league X opportunity Ruleset is and will always be a headache to me. This is because I don’t have a problem with going with small mana cards but when you add the opportunity then I get confused. I run out of options actually. This time round this was how I countered it.

I don’t go to the battle goring without h summoning the xenith monk which is a 4 mana card. It’s always available since it’s a neutral card. The only time you won’t get it is if you can’t use neutral cards in battle.

With a match like this you need to get in cards which have losts of health and then bait your opponent with a small health card which gives martyr boosts when killed.

So inbetween my uraeus and doctor blight was venari marksrat. In second position was halaran huntress with pretty good stats.

I summoned the obsidian summoner which in actual fact payed no key role in my win. I say this cause I only used 1 magic card in this battle.

The match started pretty well, with my first attack landing a kill. This was a dream start as my opponent didn’t get that. When he had his first kill it was on my bait card and it was perfect.

The game didn’t last over 4 rounds and it was a nice site.
