One of my Legendary Splinterland cards sold. Not just any Legendary but the card known as Bila The Radiant from the Life faction. This card at Level 1 (the level that I sold) has an attack of two, health of five and speed of four. It cost 8 MANA to play in battle and comes with the ability known as Life Leech (Increases health and max health by 50% of damage dealt, rounded up) .

What did I do with those proceeds? The same thing I usually do; I went Splinterlands shopping. As we can see the Legendary card that I sold held 1000 Power and 272.7 Est. Production Points. When I go shopping with funds from a sold card I like to try and recover lost Power and Production Points. Lets see if I was able to do that.

Hot diggity dog; look at that. Not only did I recover my lost Power and Production Points but I doubled them with some DEC to spare. Now that is what I call a great trade. I purchased two Gloridax Guardian cards for the total DEC cost of 4,652.37. That means I still have a balance of 765 DEC from the sale of Bila The Radiant. What to do with it?

Off to the rental market they go for the low fee of 1 DEC

Lets go Foundation Shopping

Not that long ago I was lucky enough to flip over a Legendary Great Bear Druid. A card of the foundation set. Its a card I play frequently so when I seen there was two for sale at the low combined price of 336.26 DEC I jumped at the opportunity to purchase. I'm sure you can guess what I did next. (You guessed it) I combined the three cards to make a MAX level Great Bear Druid.

With the sale of Bila The Radiant I managed to purchase four cards/ Double my Power and double my Production Points. I used two of the newly purchased cards to MAX a legendary and I still have a 428.74 DEC balance left from the sale. I think I'll hold onto that DEC for now. I'm working on building up the DEC supply I have. I want more DEC, I want more Foundation Cards, I want more MAX cards, I simply just want MORE!

Intermission Time

I flopped quad 4444 on the tables while playing micro cash games. I slow played it until the River where I raised all in. The other player must of been bluffing the whole time as they folded with remaining balance of just $0.21 cents. I managed to get one of my old poker accounts back up and running. Support was nice enough to change my email address for me and I was able to get back into my account.

If you look closely at the screenshot above you will see my name in the list of winners. What did I win? A seat in a final that will award a $33 ticket. I'm well positioned with near 2.2 million in chips. Ironically I no longer need to win that $33 ticket as I took multiple paths to get to the final game and already qualified by winning a different set of tournaments. I'm now perplexed on what to do with the position I'm in. I suppose I could still play the above semi-final and win a ticket. It will keep +1 out of the final if I did. Below you will see the target tournament. I'm already registered for it. The target tournament is a $150,000 Mystery Bounty event. Currently I'm in position 7/ 247 out of the players that are currently registered. There's still 4 days for others to qualify.

Below is another interesting hand. I somehow managed to fold two overs and a flush draw on the flop. Three others were in the hand so I figured at least one other was going after the flush. Meaning it was less likely to hit. Ironically the worst hand on the flop and preflop ended up winning the hand (5-4 Spades hit the straight). A 8 won the side pot which was much bigger than the main pot. Folding this had stopped me from losing 200K in chips. The hand displayed was played in the qualifier for the 150K tournament.

I managed to hit Silver League in Foundation mode last season. I quickly got stomped back down to Bronze within a match or two. The Foundation players are tough. I plan on creating a gold deck but for now I think I will go with a mixed bag of foils and then upgrade my reg foil to gold as I progress within Frontier mode. For those who might not know; Frontier and Campaign mode are Free to play. Simply log in > hover over the play icon and select campaign. Select Book 1 to start your journey and to earn your first Soul-Bound Foundation card. As you play through campaign mode you will earn more cards. The cards won in campaign mode can be used to play Foundation Ranked battles. That's it for now. Thanks for reading.
