Skulls of slain vampires sometimes become re-animated with necromancy, allowing the spirit of the former vampire to possess it once again. This is used for dark rituals, for information gathering, and even by necromancers with a macabre sense of humor. The souls are not happy with their situation, but often seek to turn the tide in their favor. They will go along with what their captor asks in hopes of returning to a full body.

These skulls still feel the bloodthirst they did in their lives, driving them to be very ruthless and foul-tempered. They have no empathy and can prove very cunning in their strategies and words. For instance, the necromantic power flowing through the skull left a mark and each one is protected by a nearly imperceptible magic shield. When harmed by any weapon, the skull lashes out with the magic used to create it to harm the attacker. The necromancers that keep these skulls must walk a fine line between harming them and distrusting anything the skull says.

Elandrial is the only child of a prominent noble family of the House of Morth'lana. She was educated in the arcane arts from a young age and has since grown into a prodigious sorceress.

Elandrial is acutely aware of the threat posed by Mount Redwyrm's dragons and the Chaos Empire's looming shadow over the Kingdom of Thanaloria. While the Lord of Thanalor has assumed a policy of isolation, Elandrial advocates for the high elves to bolster their oppressed neighbors and forge alliances with any who would stand against the empire.

So far, however, her counsel has fallen on deaf ears.

Tulafra, The Diamond Dragon, is not actually made of diamonds; she is simply named for her nearly indestructible exoskeleton. She is not the strongest or largest of the Dragons, but she is difficult to bring down in battle. She lives in a huge ground floor penthouse of Centrum City.

Chain Spinners of the Order never show their faces. They were only recently released from Cloudgard Castle, where they were specially trained to hunt down and bring to justice all members of the rebellious sect known as Peacebringers. Their chains, which were ordained as a sacred weapon by the words of a High Priest's recent vision, represent the wrath of Khymia when her people have failed her for too long. They are currently marching through the Khymerian villages searching everywhere and paying little regard to those who have lived there peacefully for generations. Peacebringer propaganda can already be found blowing in the wind that paints these enforcers not as Khymian or Human, but as heartless creatures of evil Dragon crafting.

Ulundin Overseer.jpg

EditionRebellion
Mana Cost11
speed.png1
health.png17
defense.png10
Element07-neutral.png Neutral
RarityCommon
Card TypeSolo defense
Abilitiesability_flank.png
The ulund are a fiercely territorial race, and their overseers are the weighty enforcers of their city-state's borders. Massive girth undulating, earth trembling beneath each lumbering stride—the sight of one leading a charge is unlike no other.

In combat, their physical efforts largely consist of simply standing firm. It serves their ulund compatriots well, however, as the overseer's thick hide creates a nearly impenetrable barrier.

Ulundin may have bowed to the Chaos Empire, but their overseers continue to protect the integrity of its borders with a mix of pride and stubbornness… as well as a healthy dose of passive resistance.
