Hello everyone! This is my second entry for this week's Splinterlands Social Media Challenge. Today I'm sharing a battle of mine in Modern Diamond Ranked.
I fought an interesting battle with Kelya against Immortalis. Immortalis is still one of the best summoners in Modern, but Kelya is also very powerful.

This game has the following rule sets: Corrosive Fog, Explosive Weaponry, and Weak Magic. I put Diemonshark in front, with Tide Biter behind it for Blast protection. Deeplurker and Venka the Vile were my main attackers. For the last 2, I went with Supply Runner for the extra speed and Coeurl Lurker to try to get some dodges. They went with Croire in front, supporting Mantaroth. Next, they had Chaos Agent and Goblin Psychic. They finished with Runi and Slipspawn.
The Forcefield on Slipspawn was amazing for them but Deeplurker managed to Poison it. Diemonshark took some damage but it also Retaliated one attack. In round 2, I killed both Croire and Slipspawn. They got my Diemonshark but the Retaliate combined with Blast took out their Agent. In round 3, I was able to kill all their monsters before they attacked. The Rebirth on Runi was only enough to take the game to round 4 but nothing else.
What do you all think about this game? Would you have done anything different? Let me know in the comments! Thank you for reading!!

I hate fighting against Immortalis since my favorite teams are Water (Kelya) and Magic (Obsidian). Immortalis counters both with his Void and Shatter abilities.
