Splinterlands Community Engagement Challenge: The Ultimate Light Splinter Guide / Protecting Your Back line for Victory

in Splinterlandsyesterday

Greetings,

How are you doing?

It has been a minute. Time flies, and happily, the community engagement challenge returns with a nice promotion of the players' great lineup.

I believe this edition will be the coolest spot to learn from skilled players in Splinterlands.
In my journey on the wild format, I have tested multiple lineups and considered tweaking valuable elements in light of the death elemental to increase win rate.

I finally found the cards that will propel my setup to the next level.
Hope you will follow in my steps and reach higher performance in your adventure.

Mana-cap battle: 98

In this game, the large mana is considered to be the best situation to align powerful warriors on the board. I thought about the presence of magic warriors, but I changed my mind in the last 20 seconds.

In the light elemental, you can see that ranger warriors enhanced by the right summoner can cause much damage.

I planned the entry in the arena with the best combination I can recommend to all players in the game. Although I did not push all warriors to the max level, I can assure you that all the abilities at max experience will play to your advantage.

B-/ Team’s Core Structure

The light collection of cards in the wild format has powerful warriors who can contribute not only from a magic point of view but also from the range.

SloanBear
IziarRenova
BrightwingCrystalsmith
Arbalest

Sloan really boosted the Arbalest warrior, creating a massive source of damage with double strikes.

Rathe team had a cool selection too. I was supposed to lose to this legendary team because I did not possess the tools to face Brook and Darius. However, I had a very experienced Summoner who helped me win this game.

RathePurifier
DariusRenova
IziarBrook
Brightwing

I had a summoner max out with warriors who did not reach their full potential. My selection was not completely shielded on the defence. I placed Triage to help recover my taunt-equipped warrior, but I could lose Iziar faster than I planned.

C-/ Why This Team Works in Specific Rulesets

This combination has the simple purpose of protecting Arbalest at the back. The archer with double strikes can cause massive damage, especially after the addition of the Sloan boost.
In order to protect the back, it is important to place a taunt like Iziar in front of the lineup, then create the recovery mechanism to keep Iziar alive.
The combination of the light warriors goes even further to use the resurrection to bring back Iziar. If I could max out Iziar, I would benefit from the Martyr ability.

The opponent could have destroyed my team with this martyr advantage.

D-/ Key Synergies & Power Plays

The present lineup on both sides of the board is powerful. I recommend getting these abilities in synchronization if you are ready to play with the light warriors.

Wild format will give you the environment to build a similar setup. The Taunt is special to divert all attacks to a martyr equipped tanker, who will resurrect to create additional boost to your team.
Health recovery won't prevent the unleashed potential of martyr. If Triage is not in the team, you won't be able to take advantage on the long run. The last touch is the archer with double strike to counter all defenses on the magic front.
