For this week's challenge I chose the Djinn Oshannus card which is one of the current legendary reward cards, so if you're lucky you can get it for free by opening your daily focus or end of season chests.
Djinn Oshannus is a card with magic attack and I consider this a positive point because cards with this type of attack directly attack the health of the cards ignoring their shield. In addition he has a lot of health so it won't be easy to defeat him in battles, but his mana cost is 8 which can be considered high but even so I still think it's worth the risk of spending all that mana on a battle with little mana available because he is really awesome in battles. I used it at level 1 but at higher levels it is even better because it has 3 abilities which are Void, Phase and Forcefield.
His stats at level 1 are 2 attack which is a little low for a card that costs 8 mana but if you use Alric Stormbringer as a summoner then he will do even more damage and be more useful. Its agility is 5 so it is a very fast card and probably one of your first cards to attack. His health is 10 so it's quite high as I mentioned before and your opponent will have a hard time defeating him, remembering that all this is only at level 1.
At level 4, which is his maximum level, he has 3 attack which I still don't consider a high value, 5 agility so it's still the same as level 1 but still makes him a very fast card, 11 health which is just more 1 than level 1, but what sets him apart from his other levels are his abilities. He has Void since level 1 so he will have it at all levels, from level 2 he already has the Phase ability and from level 3 he has the Forcefield ability.
The image above shows an overview of the Djinn Oshannus card, remembering that there are level restrictions in the leagues so the Djinn Oshannus at level 2 with the Phase ability would only be possible in the silver league or above and the Djinn Oshannus at level 3 with the ability Forcefield would only be possible in the gold league or above.
Now I will explain in more detail how all his abilities work.
The Void ability reduces the damage received by magic attacks so if your opponent has a lot of cards with magic attack in battle the Djinn Oshannus will be an even better defense because in addition to having a lot of life he also won't take much damage from these cards.
The Phase ability makes the card able to dodge magic attacks. In case you didn't know, magic attacks have a 100% chance of hitting the target but if the card has the Phase ability then they are able to miss the attack and as the Djinn Oshannus has a lot of agility then the chances of him dodging the attacks are not casualties.
The Forcefield ability makes cards that have 5 or more attack do only 1 damage to Djinn Oshannus and in higher leagues cards with that amount of attack are not that uncommon so it's a great ability that increases the defense even more. Djinn Oshannus.
For the battle besides Djinn Oshannus I used other cards that were quite useful, these cards are:
Alric Stormbringer (Level 1) who is summoner and he increases the magic attack of my cards by +1 so he will be very useful for Djinn Oshannus and my other cards with this type of attack.
Hardy Stonefish (Level 1) which is a low mana cost melee card and has no abilities.
The Djinn Oshannus (Level 1) who is in second position and as I mentioned before will be a great defense and also my biggest source of damage for this battle.
Venari Wavesmith (Level 1) which is a card with magic attack and has a very useful ability which is Protect and it grants +2 shield to your cards so it will be a great card for battle.
The Ice Pixie (Level 1) which is a card with magic attack and has the ability Flying that increases the chances of it to dodge attacks from other cards that do not have this ability.
The Deeplurker (Level 1) which is a melee card with the Opportunity ability that makes him attack the opponent's lowest health card.
See the Battle
In the battle my opponent used the summoner General Sloan which increases the attack of his ranged cards by +1, he has 2 ranged cards that are Pelacor Arbalest and Venari Crystalsmith, both are very powerful but Pelacor Arbalest is the biggest problem because he attacks 2x in the round and with General Sloan's buff he has 3 attack so he will do a lot of damage in battle.
My opponent has 6 cards which is one more than I have and he has the Time Mage card that reduces the speed of my cards by 1 and the Truthspeaker card with the Protect ability that grants +2 shield to his cards. He also possesses the Celestial Harpy and the Pelacor Conjurer.
In this battle the available mana is 25 and there are no rules.
Round 1
In the first round having Venari Wavesmith in the battle was an excellent choice because the Protect ability shield is being of great help for my cards to suffer less damage at the beginning of the battle. Hardy Stonefish was quickly defeated because he had only 1 life and Djinn Oshannus occupied the first position, in this round he didn't suffer any damage in his life and was able to dodge one of my opponent's attacks.
My opponent lost his Pelacor Conjure card which was in the first position and the shield he receives from the Truthspeaker card is not being very useful because most of my cards have magic attack, but it is making my Deeprluker have a hard time dealing damage.
Round 2
In the second round Djinn Oshannus is still a great card for battle because with his high speed he is able to attack first and he defeated my opponent's Venari Crystalsmith, he also didn't receive any damage from the Time Mage card because of his Void ability . The Truthspeaker card and Time mage were also defeated and now the Pelacor Arbalest is in the first position and not able to attack.
My opponent did a lot of damage to my Djinn Oshannus with his Pelacor Arbalest card but he wasn't able to defeat any of my cards this round and suffered a lot of losses.
Round 3
In this round my opponent's Pelacor Arbalest is in the first position and is unable to attack so Djinn Oshannus defeats him at the beginning of the round, now my opponent's Celestial Harpy is in the first position and is his last card in the battle.
My opponent is not able to attack this round because my cards have more speed so Ice Pixie defeats Celestial Harpy causing the battle to end.
Conclusion
Djinn Oshannus is an excellent defense because of his high amount of health, especially if your opponent is using cards with magic attack because of his Void ability, but his main function is to deal damage and in this battle he did a lot of damage with his high magic attack and its high speed, so if you are looking for a card with magic attack that is great on offense and also on defense, Djiin Oshannus is this card.
Besides Djinn Oshannus Alric Stormbringer was of great help increasing his magic attack and my other cards with this type of attack and Venari Wavesmith was also excellent providing defense for my cards. Deeplurker and Ice Pixie were great dealing damage.

Phase and Forcefield with void and that speed make it a great and underutilized card. Good read. Sharing this on https://twitter.com/PraetoriaDigest.
