The New Promos

We are getting an opportunity to purchase some new promo cards but the asset use to purchase is leaning toward DEC and Vouchers.

At 3K and 50k DEC per bcx respectively it certainly looks expensive. That is because DEC is difficult to come by now than five years ago. Wins don’t automatically earn us DEC and we need luck on our side to earn rewards that have decent demand to sell on the open market. I find totem fragments sell well.

The incentive to bulk purchase is very similar to past promo sales.

Then we also have the cards already for sale on the open market.

Automatically we see a price savings if one directly purchased the cards on open market.

Not even a couple of days in and prices are falling. This is a trend I don’t like to see. I have purchased past promos and seen this effect first hand. I am not going to buy any of these promos.

That includes the voucher promo.

Again 30 vouchers is equating to close to $0.30 based on open market sale of the promo. It is clear that even with new cards out the trend remains down.

I sound bleak here but I’m just posting what I see. I continue to play and save but the new promos are not very enticing at the moment.
