DEC Price Free Fall?

As price of Hive seem to be suppressed for a moment it was bound to bounce. We can see it now with the price of DEC. There is currently a 18% drop between DEC to Hive price due to Hive just rising over $0.11. I was hoping to have swap some DEC before the price drop but unfortunately missed on such an opportunity.

The idea would have been to play arbitrage. Trade DEC for more Hive at 0.0065 and buy back DEC at 0.0056. If a large sum of DEC is swap there could be decent amount of gains here. Imagine 100k DEC will equate close to 10k in gains. The crucial part of this is to have more DEC to play in Splinterlands.

Overall DEC supply remains trending down and it may have accelerated a bit in just the past few seasons. The amount staked in land is staggering +23% locked. Although this can swiftly become liquid it is nice to see distribution across multiple uses for DEC. No longer do we see players simply holding majority of the DEC.

Again what a move in DEC in terms of Hive and it was bound to happen soon as DEC in terms of USD was on the rise.

The most recent uptick between USD to DEC has likely help push the demand for Hive. I personally believe to onboard players to Splinterlands they will bound to use Hive. This is great news for all who associate in Hive ecosystem.
