VULGUINE - this new reward monster can be very useful

What’s up my fellow splinterlands players!

Well, the whole world may get exhausted and have the mid week dilemma, we splinterlands players are pretty busy now as only 1 day and 20 hours left for this current season to end. Most of us are probably working on their trophy count and trying to reach their favourable tier or a place in the leaderboard, with as many season chests as possible as well. Personally for me, I have started this season from the lowest league Novice and till now, I have success reached and playing in Diamond I. But since last 2 days, I am working hard but still unable to reach the next Season Champ III. Well, there’s still some time left but it seems that my incomplete untamed collection is facing trouble killing those giants. Moreover, the Riftwatchers packs can also be opened now and the amazing Riftwatchers cards are also appearing in the battles. I don't have a slightest knowledge about all these brand new cards and also I don’t own any yet. It Looks like I have to again start saving and make a big fund to acquire them one by one over time. But for this season, I don’t know if I can reach the Champ III tier before the season clock ends. My ECR bar is currently residing at 52.5% and I have left it to reach overnight and reach at least 60+% and will try again and maybe consider renting some cards if that boosts my performance.

As you can see from the screenshots above, I have shared 2 of my focus chests reward outcome that I received within last 4 days. Gladly, even in Diamond the SPS rewards the pretty good. Not all days are lucky but on a bright day, you can also earn hundreds or even thousands and SPS from these daily focus chests so don't forgot to play your dailies and collect them. Till now, I have collected 123 season trophies so far and I hope To collect another 2 at least. Let’s now see what the season ending have to provide me after all this work.

Ok now, let me move towards the main theme of this post as today, I have another awesome Reward card to showcase to you all. As you all have already guessed, today I will talk about VULGUINE, the newly launched card from the Life territory that have unique ability combo that really helps in certain matches.

VULGUINE

It's a rare Life Unit Blood Thirsty monster that belongs to the Reward edition. This monster needs only 2 mana to join any battle. It's a melee monster and has 1 melee attack at 3 speed and 1 health along with the Scavenger ability from the beginning stage.

BRONZE

In this first tier stage of upgradation, this monster has 1 melee attack at 3 speed and 2 health along with Scavenger ability.

SILVER

This Monster needs total 25 rare BCX cards to reach into this stage. On this stage of upgradation, this monster increases it's health from 2 to 3 with 3 speed and 2 melee attack Along with the Scavenger ability.

GOLD

This Monster needs a total of 60 Rare cards to reach into this stage. On this stage, this monster equips another ability of Dodge along with Scavenger ability. Also has 2 melee, attack 3 speed and 4 health.

DIAMOND / CHAMPION

This Monster needs total 115 Rare cards to reach into the Max stage of upgradation. On this max stage, this monster equips another ability of Enrage along with Scavenger and Dodge ability. On the other side, this monster has 3 Melee attack at 3 speed and 4 health.

IMPORTANT POINTS ABOUT VULGUINE

• Although it's a Rare Monster, it needs only 2 mana to join any battles. So you can easily use this monster in low mana limit matches and also in Little League ruleset.

• This monster has equipped the Scavenger ability from beginning stage of life. So over time, it will increase it’s total health over time.

• This monster will equip 3 abilities on it’s whole life cycle.

SCAVENGER Using this ability, this monster gains 1 max health each round any monster dies in the battlefield.

DODGE Having this ability, the monster has an Increased chance of evading melee or Ranged attacks.

ENRAGE With the Help of this ability, this monster has increased it’s melee attack and speed when damaged.

MARKET STATS

This Rare edition Monster value per bcx around $0.021$ and for the max level, it charges around 2.42$. on the other side, the Gold foil card price is around $1.15 for a level 2 monster and $28 for the max level of gold.

VULGUINE

On the very first position, I placed my main wild Monster vulguine. I have already wrote about the stat and abilities about this monster so lets move on.

SOUL FIEND

On the second position of my lineup, I placed this 0 mana legendary monster which has 2 health, 1 melee attack and 3 speed along with Swiftness ability.

GARGOYA SCRAPPER

On the third position, I placed this 1 mana cost melee monster. This monster has 2 melee attack at 3 speed and 3 health along with Void ability.

CHAOS KNIGHT

On the fourth or last position, I placed this Defensive monster which costs 6 mana. This monster has 3 melee attack at 3 speed and 6 health along with Shield, Giant killer, Inspire ability. Because of It’s Shield ability, small 1 attack power monsters wont bring any harm to it.

BATTLE BEGINS

ROUND 1

On the very first round and after both my and the opponent’s monsters got the all abilities and disabilities applied upon them, first enemy monster Herbalist missed it's First strike towards my front monster Vulguine. After that, my Soul Fiend monster destroyed enemy Chaos Agent's Divine shield, followed by the enemy Soul monster which also destroyed divine shield of my Chaos Knight monster. Then, my Vulguine wild monster destroyed the enemy Pelacor Conjurer divine shield and my Chaos Knight destroyed enemy Chaos Agent. Next, my Gargoya destroyed the enemy Herbalist Devine shield and then, the enemy monster Doctor Blight destroyed my Vulguine Monster's Divine shield and the first round ended here.

ROUND 2

On the next round, at first enemy Herbalist damaged my Vulguine wild monster and After that, my Vulguine Monster damaged enemy Pelacor Conjurer monster. Next, the Enemy Soul monster missed it's attack upon my Chaos Knight and followed by, my Soul Fiend monster and Chaos Knight monster destroyed enemy Herbalist. Then, my Gargoya destroyed the enemy monster Soul Fiend's divine shield and at last, the enemy monster Doctor Blight damaged my Vulguine Monster and the round ended here.

ROUND 3

In this third round, at first, my main hero Vulguine wild monster destroyed the enemy Pelacor Conjurer. After that, my Soul Fiend monster attacked and destroyed the enemy Soul Fiend monster. Next, my Gargoya monster destroyed enemy Doctor Blight's divine shield and my Chaos Knight damaged enemy Doctor Blight. At last, the Doctor Blight damaged my Vulguine Monster and the round ended here.

ROUND 4

On this last round, my Main Wild monster Vulguine finally destroyed the only enemy left Doctor Blight monster easily and thus, I won this ranked match.

As you can see, I tried to use the Scavenger ability of this monster and tried to increase it’s total health so that as the matches continues, it becomes bigger and bigger and later it can kill the remaining enemies and still stay alive for me to win the match. Using this monster can be tricky but if you master it, it will surely bring more wins Easily.
