What’s up my fellow Splinterlands players!
I hope all of you are spending a fantastic day with your friends and family and also enjoying this game in your daily free time. Well, if you play this strategy game in a daily basis, then you must have noticed that the last ranked season just ended recently a couple of days before. I guess all of you have claimed your Glint points by now already started playing in this ongoing one. Talking about me, in the last season I touched Champion III tier for once but then again got neaten down to Diamond I where I finished playing for in the previous season. So, in this season, I have started from Diamond III tier with a trophy rating of 2,900 and my goal will remain as usual, to reach and protect my position at Champion III League Tier. I hope this time I become able to stay at Champion III and lets now see how it goes while I try to play better.
Now moving forward, let me come to the main topic of this post as today, I am going to showcase you another amazing Rebellion card and as you have already seen it from the thumbnail above, today we will be talking about the BROKEN EARTH THUG. So, if you are interested, Let’s jump right in without any further ado.
Broken Earth Thug
BROKEN EARTH THUG is a monster type card which got released with the latest Rebellion edition Reward card-set. This monster belongs to the Death element and it costs only 3 mana to be used in battles, so you can use this card easily in your lineups while playing small to medium mana limit matches. It is a common type card,so you will need a total of 400 BCXs of cards to upgrade it to max level. Its attack type is melee and the main advantage of this card is its Opportunity ability. Let us now take a further look in this card’s league wise stats and abilities below.
BRONZE
At level 3, this monster possesses 2 melee attack at 2 speed with 3 health and it also hets the Opportunity ability since the initial level of this card. With the help of this ability, this monster will always attack the enemy monster with lowest health.
SILVER
Upon reaching level 3, this monster receives the same 2 melee attack power at 3 speed with increased 1 armour and 3 health. Not only that, but it also gets the Cripple ability from level 4 onwards. With the help of this new ability, every time this monster successfully attack an enemy monster, that monster’s max health will get decreased by 1.
GOLD
When you upgrade this card to level 8, it gets 2 melee attack at an increased 4 speed, 1 armour and 5 health along with those 2 abilities that I talked about earlier. However, though its other stats gets increased, it does not get any new ability at Gold league.
DIAMOND / CHAMPION
Finally, when you upgrade this monster to its max level of 10, it possesses an increased 3 melee attack power at 4 speed with 2 armour and 5 health at its max level. Sadly, even at its max level, it does not get any new abilities. But I think its Opportunity ability with a good attack power and speed is already enough and will help you in battles.
Battle Link
BATTLE STAT
This time I got a medium 22 mana limit match where 4 elements - Fire, Water, Death and Dragon were allowed to choose from in the battle and there were also 3 rulesets applied in this match - Enraged, Equaliser (all same health) and Up Close and Personal ( only melee monsters can be used). After looking at all the rules, I decided to rather go with a melee lineup with sneak and opportunity monster as it was the only good option for this match. For this match, first of all, I chose the Neutral summoner Lux Vega and placed the Dumacke Orc at my front defensive position followed by Uraeus, Silent Xha-Vi, Broken Earth Thug and Corpse Fiend at the end position. When both the lineups got revealed, I found out that my Opponent has used the water summoner Kelya Frendul against me and at his first place, he chose the Cruel Sethropod followed by Tide Biter, Deeplurker, Uraeus, Pelacor Bandit and Torrent Fiend at the last place of his lineup.
As the battle started, all the monster’s health got increased. Including all others, my Orc’s low 1 health has also buffed up to 8 health as you can see in the battle. As my opponent has also used mostly sneak and opportunity ability attackers, my Corpse Fiend got brutally attacked in the first round and got killed down and I also wounded his fiend badly. Anyway, at second round, the enemy monsters started targeting my THUG and I also placed my Thug here at backside for this same reason, so that my main 2 sneak attackers gets more time while it takes the hit first. First the enemy Uraeus wounded snd poisoned it and then, the Deeplurker threw the final blow and killed it down. I also killed the Cruel at this same round and took revenge and as my monsters were more powerful at this position, I somehow won the match in the final ongoing round.
I hope you lived watching the match that I shared above and also liked reading my battle post. Do you also love to use thus monster? Let me know in the comment section below and I will be seeing you all in my next post.
Wish you all good luck on all of your future Splinterlands matches.
