Splinterlands | These 2 monsters can snipe out backline monsters

in Splinterlandsyesterday (edited)

What’s up my fellow Splinterlands players!

I hope all of you are doing well in life and also enjoying this amazing game in your daily free time. Well, the fun has pumped up even more since the release of the newest edition of Rebellion Reward cards into the game which changed the gameplay entirely, especially in the modern format. Nowadays if you play in the Diamond or Champion league, you may see many players are using these reward cards already and if you ask me, I also use them Sometimes even when they are way behind their max level, obviously because some of them are very useful even at lower levels. Now looking at the current season, it has only started a couple of days back and right now, we still have 13 more days before the season reset, so let us use this time efficiently and earn as many SPS and Glint points as possible.

Now talking about me, last season I could not play enough and ended up at Diamond League when the last season got its reset. So this season I started playing again in the Gold League but gladly, I have already made some progress and climbed up my position to the Diamond League. Right now I am playing at the Diamond II tier with a current trophy rating of 2,860 and only 240 more trophies are required to enter the top tier of the Diamond League. I hope I maintain this position here for the next couple of days and slowly move upwards and enter Diamond I without losing my place again. Let’s see how that goes.

Now moving forward, let me now come to my main topic of this post because continuing the series, I will be bringing up 2 more reward cards again and inspect them with you all. In my last splinterlands post, I talked about 2 reward monsters with the Reflection Shield ability and in today’s post, I will be talking about 2 more monsters but with the Snipe ability. For those who don't know, this is one of the oldest abilities in splinterlands and monsters with this ability target the first non-melee enemy card that is not in the front place. So if you are interested, let’s jump right in without any further ado.

Blackmoor Jinx

The first card that I would like to talk about today is the popular Blackmoor Jinx and I guess most of you have already seen or used this special card in battles because soon after the launch this is one of the reward cards that got loved so much. This is a monster card that got released with the latest Rebellion edition Reward card-set and the main reason this card got so viral is because of its mana cost. Yes, this monster only costs 1 mana to be used in battles, so you can easily fit this card in your lineup even when playing the smallest mana-limit battles. This monster belongs to the Earth element and it is a Legendary type card, so you will need a total of 11 BCXs of cards in order to upgrade this monster to its max level. Its attack type is Range and apart from a good attack and decent speed & health, it also comes with the Sniper ability.

At level 1, this card’s stats feel so tiny and it only possesses 1 range attack at 2 speed with 2 health along with the Snipe ability that it receives since its initial level. But as you start upgrading this card, it gets more health at level 2, more speed at level 3 and finally when you upgrade it to level 4, it gets an increased 2 range attack at 3 speed with 3 health along with the Sniper ability. However, it does not get any new abilities even at its max level. But who cares, we are already getting a 2 attack power monster for just 1 mana cost!

Luceheim Demon

Now moving on, let me now pull up the second monster from my magic hat and as you guys have already guessed from the thumbnail above, the second monster that I would like to talk about here is none other than the Luceheim Demon and as the name suggests, this monster really looks scary and comes with a lot of firepower in the battle. This monster also comes from the newest Rebellion edition Reward card set and this card belongs to the Life element. This monster’s attack type is also Range and it is a common type card, so you will need a total of 400 BCXs of cards to upgrade this monster to its max level. It costs 7 mana to be used in battles, so you can select this card while playing medium to large mana-limit matches. Apart from a decent attack, low speed and a good combo of health + armour, this mobster also comes with some useful abilities which I am About to talk about below.

At the first level, this monster does not look that scary as it possesses only 3 range attack at 1 speed with 1 armour and 5 health and also gets the Sniper ability since its initial level. But as you start upgrading this card, it gets more health at level 2, the Cleanse ability at level 3 followed by more increased armour and health at later levels. Finally, when you upgrade this monster to its max level, it gets 3 range attack at 1 speed with 4 armour and 9 health and also gets another new ability called Triage. Now while with the help of the Cleanse ability, it can remove any negative status effect from the front friendly card, the Triage ability on the other hand will heal any backline wounded monster. So now you have a monster that heals and cleans and also brings a high amount of damage upon enemy cards, but the only negative side of this card is its 1 speed so though it will be super useful in reverse speed ruleset matches, in normal matches you have to use it cautiously.

I hope you liked reading my post and also loved these 2 monsters that I talked about above. Let me know which one among them is your favourite in the comment section below and I will be seeing you all in my next post.

Wish you all good luck on all of your future Splinterlands matches.
