Splinterlands | The CHIMNEY WALLSTOP is an Undefeated Beast

in Splinterlandsyesterday (edited)

What’s up my fellow Splinterlands players!

I hope all of you are spending an awesome day with your friends and family and also enjoying this game in the meantime. Now, if you play this game on a daily basis and use it to grow your reward cards while earning SPS and other in-game items, then you may have noticed that at this moment, we have only 3 days left for this ongoing ranked season to meet its end. So if you are playing actively this this current season, be sure to reach whatever goal you have set for yourself, be it to reach and certain league tier or to claim a glorious spot in the Champion League leaderboard. Now looking at myself, this season I have somehow reached my goal and entered the Champion League. My place didn't last long though and I have now slipped down to Diamond League. Right now I am sitting at Diamond I league tier with a current trophy rating of 3,620. Having another 3 days left only, I think I will just stay where I am and play some more Matches without losing my place in the tier. With the season-end bloodbath being started already, I would try to stay away from the battle arena and let’s see how it goes.

Moving forward, let me now come to the main topic of this post as today, it’s time to uncover another strong splinterlands monster with you all. As you have already seen in the thumbnail above, today I will be showcasing the CHIMNEY WALLSTOP with you all. So, if you are interested, let's take a dive without any further ado.

CHIMNEY WALLSTOP

CHIMNEY WALLSTOP is a special type of monster that was introduced in the game a while ago. This monster comes under the Gladiator type card set. This monster belongs to the fire element and its attack type is melee. It costs 10 mana to use this card in battles, so you can use this card easily when playing medium to high mana limit matches. It is a common type card, so you will need a total of 400 BCXs of card in order to upgrade this monster to the maximum level. Apart from a good large melee attack power at a decent speed with a good combo of armour + health, this monster also comes with 4 abilities at its max level, such as - reach, bloodlust, repair, opportunity and rage, which I will be talking about later. Let us now take a further look at this monster’s league wise stats and abilities to find out more.

BRONZE

AT level 3, this beast monster possesses 5 melee attack power at 2 speed with 3 armour and 9 health. It also gets 2 new abilities called Reach and Bloodlust since its initial level. While with the Bloodlust ability, - this monster gains +1 to all stats if it kills down an enemy card. On the other hand, with the Reach ability, this monster can perform an attack from the second position of your lineup.

SILVER

When you upgrade this monster to level 5, it gets an increased stats of 6 melee attack power at 2 speed with 3 armour and 8 health with a new ability called Repair from this level. restores up to 2 armour to friendly armour highest armour damaged.

GOLD

As this monster gets upgraded to level 8, it receives 6 melee attack power at 3 speed with 4 armour and 9 health along with those same 3 abilities as I mentioned above. Though it does not get any new abilities at this level, its high melee attack with a defensive armour + health combo will surely help you in battles.

DIAMOND / CHAMPION

Finally, when you upgrade this beast monster to its max level of 10, it possesses the same stats as of Gold league of 6 melee attack power at 3 speed with 4 armour and 9 health. But gladly, it does come with a new ability called Strengthen. With the help of this ability, this monster gives +1 max health to all friendly monsters.

BATTLE STAT

This time I received a large 99 mana limit match where there were only 2 elements allowed to choose from in this match - Fire and Death. There were also 3 match rulesets applied with this battle such as - Equal Opportunity (All the monsters get the Opportunity ability), What Doesn't Kill you (All the monsters get the Enrage ability) and Are You not Entertained (One Extra Gladiator card can be used in this match). So, after looking at all these 3 rulesets and allowed elements, I started thinking of a successful lineup and after thinking a bit, I finally decided to leverage the power of Opportunity attacks and started including more high-powered Melee attack monsters from Fire element and started building my lineup quickly.

For this battle, first of all, I chose the Legendary Fire element summoner Conqueror Jacek and at the first place of my lineup, I selected the Grum Flameblade followed by Chimney Wallstop, Immolation, Mantaroth, Arkemis the Bear and the Forgotten one at my last position. Anyway, when both the lineups were revealed later in the battle, I found out that my opponent had also used the same Conqueror Jacek, Coeurl Lurker, Arkemis the Bear, Chimney Wallstop, Legionnaire Alvar, Supply Runner and the Rune Crafter at his last position. Both of us used multiple melee attacking monsters in this battle to utilise the opportunity ability, however, he used 2 range monsters whose health is weaker and would be targeted first.

As the battle began, all the enemy backline monsters started attacking my Immolation due to their opportunity ability. So, it sadly died on the very first round. Then at round 2, my Wallstop also died in the hands of the enemy Wallstop. Next, my Bear killed the first enemy monster the Coeurl Lurker and then, the enemy Wallstop again attacked and killed down my Grum Flameblade followed by the Mantaroth who finally killed another enemy monster, the Bear this time. Next, my Forgotten One targeted the wounded Supply Runner and killed it down at round 3. My Forgotten One again went super active and killed down the enemy Wallstop at the end of round 4. In round 5, the Alvar took down my precious Mantaroth but my Bear also quickly took revenge and killed the Alvar at round 6. The only enemy monster left at this point on the opponent's side was the poor Rune Crafter, which also got taken care of soon by my One and thus, I won another amazing match and earned myself some more SPS and Glint tokens.
