Hey there, most welcome to another blog of the SplinterLands social media challenge. Here, I am going to share the difference between the old and new versions of summoners that I felt in many Splinter Lands battles, but you should visit my old social media challenge post for more detailed information.

Anyway, there are many differences that we can see between the summoners but one major thing that I want to talk about here is mana difference we are going to talk about how you can play smartly and save mana by using old summoners if you have and then you can use that saved mana for your other cards. That's the main point here.

Getting 1 Or 2 Mana Benefits While Using Old Summoners

Let me give you an example first. Let's say I am using Malric Inferno, which has 1 mana only and +1 melee attack benefit. On the other hand, there is the Tarsa summoner, which has 4 mana. But here you are getting double benefits: +1 health and +1 melee attack, so in this case, using the Tarsa summoner is useful but here malric inferno is going to be more useful in the small mana battles.

Similarly, eternan brune is a very important summoner because it has the conscript ability and -2 shield which is its 6 mana justifiable but as I said sometimes even one mana plays a big role that is why here I am giving first priority to malric inferno in the small mana battles. So this is the discussion regarding choosing based on mana difference but you have to compare strengths too and then make a decision.

Smart Selection Plays A Key Role

As I said in the above paragraph this is just a selection based on mana but strength plays a major role. Check abilities and stats then decide what to take not only this you have to check the battle rules and opponent that is why smart selection is the most crucial thing. So if you have multiple summoners then you should be confused about what to take but at that time main focus should be checking all the things before selection such as battle rules, opponent, mana, and your deck's most important cards.

Using old cards can give you the biggest benefit of mana so that is why you can consider this thing when you play battle. Now what is your opinion regarding this discussion let me know in the comment section and please share this post on social media using tags like #splinterlands and #play2earn. Do you find old summoners more useful to play?

hi dear

It depends on the battle rules, mana cap, and your cards.
