Elves has always been known for their prowess in archery, combined with their innate magic affinity to nature, magic arrows prove to be devastating in battle. At the far end part of the elven forest, a place where humongous trees covered the entire area in darkness, there you can hear someone chanting and suddenly there's a burst of bright and colorful light. "I need no bow & arrows. All I need is magic, a little darkness and maybe a little bit more of darkness." the grinning elf said. Who is he and why is he here alone?
He is Xhion the son of the great king's guard elven general Ardok. Xhion was born a sickly and weak making him unable to wield bows & arrows. To his disappointment, Ardok abandoned him and decided to throw him at the forbidden forest trying to cover Xhion's existence which for him is a big disgrace to his glorious honor.
"Hello! is anyone out there? It's too dark in here please someone help me." little Xhion cried. "Don't be afraid of darkness poor soul hekik hekikikik darkness is a friend to us hekik hekikikik", a creepy voice answered. "Who are you? You're scarring me, but please don't eat me I'm not tasty", Xhion replied. "hekik hekikikik I like you poor soul I'm Amababa, come follow my voice I'll show you where forsaken like us truly belongs."
Full of uncertainty Xhion, followed the voice. After a while of aimlessly walking in darkness he arrived at a village which he could never fathomed existing at the forbidden forest. Right there waiting for him is Amababa. "Flabbergasted are you not? Here we will teach you the ways of elven dark magic. You have nowhere else to go be one of us" Amababa enticingly said. "There's no turning back now right? I'm Xhion"
And that's when Xhion started to embrace the teachings of the Elven Mystics.
Malric Inferno raises his eyebrows in mild disbelief.
"You can bring back a Dark Eternal... to the living?"
"Well, theoretically, yes it is possible. Specifically, with a Khymerian's help, we've done it before" An Elven Mystic nervously chatters to Malric, as if afraid he might grow angry with him.
"How?" Malric seems intrigued. Why is Malric intrigued, the Elven Mystic was unsure of what a Fire warlord could possibly want with a Dark Eternal...
"Well, we'd need a Khymerian, and supplies... and a lot of other Elven Mystics"
"Retrieve them" Malric speaks, as a command, before turning to walk away.
"But Malric, why would you want to bring back a Dark Eternal?"
Malric remains silent for a long time, before briefly saying one word: "Zintar."
"As I open the book, I still can see his face. His pale face and his starry deep purple eyes looking through me. This was his book, all his sayings, all his experiences... and his wisdom. As I read this book, I can see why everyone looks at it as doom. When I see it, I see the beauty of his teachings and philosophy written in ancient elvish that only makes it easier to accept his greatness. I read his enchantments and spells and I can see him right here and now beside me, as if he was still alive, after thousands of years, the elf master of all that is known"
“Life grows everywhere. My kin merely find those places where it grows strongest” said the brazen Elvish mystic. Knowing no bounds he picked up his bag and ventured the Splinter lands. Lost in the moment he pictured a smell which reminded him of a distant past. And gone he was.

A sect of Elves from Anumün were discovered by tribal leaders studying the ways of dark magic and banished from the Eastern Wood. They found their way to Khymeria where they could use their powers to assist the Khymians in bringing Dark Eternals back to the living. These Elven Mystics are respected as Khymian mages, but are trusted by almost no one in the Earth or Life Splinters.-elven mystic

I ain't gonna venture into the lore but this card is the giga chad! just started the adventure with your brand new spellbook and cant climb? keep getting kekw'd by Mylor bij? some random ass llama yeeting heals 24/7?
Take this chad with his best buds alric or delwyn, heck even his big boi arius is gonna clap them hard. his Neutral fits him everywhere so he can be your wingman all the time! Silence em all tryhards leaving them with biggest affliction, be the best pogchamp in Splinterlands and create your own history with adventurous story with Elven Mystic.
Elven Mystics are rare in the Splinter Lands, they're known as users of dark magic, yet they're familiar with wood elves and live amongst them. They are not to be trusted but the legend tells us that if you are looking to resurrect someone or cast a powerful curse upon someone, Elven Mystics are the ones you should turn to.

My impression on Elven Mistic is it's a card that protect other magic card from sneak monster.
When you have a habit of choose alric Stormbringer then filter to magic and choose 4,2,3,4 cost card automatically, that's a sign that you've start to walk the path of a Magi. (And then get destroyed by Unicorn Mustang. /sob)
