This week the challenge is looking at Pelacor Arbalest. This is a great card/monster if you can keep it alive long enough to work its magic. This was a pretty strong enemy, so I needed some power to get through their ranks. My main key were the three healing abilities, power attacks, and a strong tank and anchor to protect the Arbalest as it it double strike of 3 a piece. (Less when hitting the shield)
Anyway, let's look at a battle I recently used it in.
Ruleset- Equalizer and Enrage
My setup and important abilities-
General Sloan lv 4 (+1 Range)
Uriel the Purifier lv 2 (Recharge, heal, flying)
Gargoya Devil lv 6 (Flying, deathblow, close range)
Djinn Renova lv 4 (Strengthen, triage)
Venari Crystalsmith lv 6 (Tank heal)
Pelacor Arbalest lv 2 (Double strike)
Prismologist lv 1 (Blast)
Chain Golem was no match for the onslaught, and once he fell the rest was history.Gargoya Devil is a nice secondary tank in the equalizer ruleset and gave my team extra time to work as well. Djinnn Renova also works great with this team once it can use Triage to help everyone alive.
Oveerall Impression is it's an esential card to pair with General Sloan. Gets even better once it gains flying and more health. Get yourself an level 5 copy if you can and unleash the power of the Pelacor Arbalest.
