Different People. Different Stories. One Game.
It's amazing how a single game can make moments and memories you'd never thought would happen. In this blog, that common denominator is a Hive game called Splinterlands.
I never really called them the Splinterfriends since I'm not fond of naming stuff but I figured it's the best way to call your friends from the Splinterlands community.
As a live streamer and a content creator doing mostly Splinterlands stuff, I am fortunate enough to have the support from the people Splinterlands PH community. One thing we can brag about the PH community - its people. Not a hundred percent perfect community but way better than all the other communities I've joined combined. Long story short, it's where I met these awesome people. Except Mik, of course. I was already with her before I even knew Splinterlands existed.
Nowadays, you'd be more cautious of meeting anyone you meet online for safety purposes but through all the months that I have interacted with these people almost everyday in groups, I felt it was safe to do that. And so we all did meet each other!
Meet the Master Chef Angel
I'm excited to share with you this awesome experience starting with our food but before anything else, I'd like to give a massive thank you to Angel for being the master chef of this whole journey.
We have spent way less for lots of good food as she has devoted to cooking just about everything we've eaten. If it wasn't for her skill in the kitchen, things would have been a lot different and maybe even more expensive!
Here's Angel with Baby Akari.
Fooooodddd!!!
I had to make a collage to avoid too much photos but this is not it. LOL!
• Sweet and Sour Tilapia
• Fried Chicken Wings (Honey Garlic not in the photos)
• Cheese Sticks
• Cucumber dipped in pepper and vinegar
• Oranges and Mangoes
• Chicharon Bulaklak (not in the photos)
• Buttered Shrimp
• Creamy Tofu (if that's what it's called)
More Food!!!
Kuya Whale @iamgem005 arrived with a box of yummy cupcakes!
Mik and I also bought milk tea for everyone but ended up saving them for the next day because we had drinks, shared stories and laughter for the night.
I mean, look at how happy they are... especially JC 😆
We pretty much spent the night talking, laughing, eating and drinking. And Samsam making Sinigang na Hipon at around 1:30 am LOL.
And of course, each of us opened a salty Chaos Legion Pack.
You can watch the video here!
7 people, 8 packs. No legendary, no epic (photo taken before the disaster) 🤣
I also just wanna share this snap I took of Azure at night. I like the blue light.
The next morning, we had overloaded breakfast courtesy of Angel again.
Mandatory Group photo before we have our breakfast and hit the waters 🤽♀ It's only 5 of us since Kuya Whale had to go home last night.
Beach yeyy! Here's a very perfect photo of our bands 🤣
We unfortunately had to leave our phones in the locker so we had no pictures of us swimming and riding the waves with all the people in there. I initially did not want to have a dip and so I did not bring anything useful for this situation. Silly me.
We have a group photos tho!
Last group photo before leaving!
Bonus photo of who's inside the stroller. Our baby Kooki! 🐱
It's beautiful how one game can bring total strangers together and form friendships.
