SPLINTERLAND SOCIAL MEDIA CHALLANGE| THEMED REBELLION

Hello everyone excited to be back again, this is going to be my first post for this week's splinterland and hope you are all well and doing alright. The theme for this week's Social media contest is "REBELLION" .

It was quite a buzz in the splinterland community. Members had the opportunity to claim their packs during the presale event. A whopping 500k packs were up for sale, but only 492,665 packs were sold, so there are just a few left during the presale period that were not sold out.

Now, as we prep and get ready for even more excitement because in just 11 days (December 5th), the Rebellion general sale is going live and this time everyone can participate and grab their own pack which can be opened, And the best part - each pack is going for around $3 which seems awfully cheap considering we will be getting a rare card per pack. It's a great chance to dive into the world of Splinterlands for me and unleash that rebellious side considering I have been away for a while and missed out on getting some nice cards!

I can already imagine the anticipation and excitement building up as the countdown closes in. I'm sure you're itching to get your hands on one of those packs just as much as I am. Just imagine the thrill of opening it up and discovering the unique cards inside.

IMPROVEMENTS

• DUAL ELEMENTS

We are ussuallly accustomed to selecting a summoner which gives us access to a limited and specific number of cards which we could strategically select our battle cards and position from. Introducing the new Dual element summoners where the sumonner gives you acces to twice the range of cards from a combination of two elements although this cards will cost way more mana than your usual summoner

• ABILITY CHOICE

Ussually our strategy in splinter land ends immediately after cards are revealed, but with the new improvements made one now has additional strategy to implement after cards are revealed, you can choose to buff your cards to give you more attacking power or debuff your opponents one could choose to armour his cards or alter there ranged abilities.

• NEW ABILITY

CORROSIVE
ARMORED STRIKE
LOOKOUT

Armored Strike is all about using your armor as an extra weapons, like gauntlets, shields, helmets, physical features like spikes and tough shells. Corrosive Ward melts your attackers into acidic goo by damaging their armor and reducing their max armor. Flank lets your first and second units team up to bring down the enemy tank, thanks to the Reach ability. Lookout keeps your allies safer by reducing damage from sneak attackers.

SNEEK PEAKS

We were able to get a detailed view into some of the cards we ll be getting for the Rebellion pack here is an overview of my 2 favourite so far.

• Redwyrm Dragon

Is a rare card one of the flying units in the rebellion packs, also having the immunity feature which makes it an excellent selection against earthquakes and noxious fumes ruleset, with a whopping high class defensive ability packing huge health (11) and armor(6) makes it a perfect card although it has just 2 damage but I believe this is made up for by the immense defensive ability it has, I guess this is why it's one on my favourite in the rebellion pack, it's a well rounded and balanced card for me.

• ANASTH SOOTHSAYER

Is a water element excellent support card with a huge health (9) capacity costs only (6) mana a very good speed (4) and just 1 damage, also healing ability.
It's always strategic and relaxing for me to enter a battle knowing I have a healer who can heal my tanks and won't die from just a single hit, the soothsayer rebellion card is a perfect card to add to your match when facing fierce enemies especially those that focus on melee.

CONCLUSION

I must say this new improvements will make the game a lot more strategic and tactical, each decision will determine whether you have the upper hand over your opponent or not
