James100 is back, baby!
I'm back after a long break from the game, and I'm excited to share my weekly challenges with you.
In the next two days, I'll be sharing my progress, the monsters I've hired, and how I'm planning to win!
So stay tuned, and let's get this party started!
Okay, enough with the introductions
I'm here to share my progress on the "Battle Mage Secrets Weekly Challenge!"
This week's challenge required us to use Lost Legendaries in our battles
It wasn't easy for me, as a returning player, so be prepared for a long and bumpy ride in this article
So fasten your seatbelts and let's get started!
Okay, so what is the "Lost Legendaries" rule?
In short, we cannot use any Legendary units in our battles.
This is the rule that I had to follow in my battle, along with the mana available to me:👇
I'll be giving you a brief overview of the monsters I used in my battle and how I strategized for it.
Gameplan:
Since the mana cap available for use in this battle is only 16, I had to think strategically about how to use my mana effectively to choose an excellent team to face my opponent.
I wanted to have a strong front line, as well as a decent defensive and rear line. I wanted to be able to attack my opponent from multiple monsters, while also having a strong front line that could withstand hits for a long period of time.
After a lot of thought, I decided that the best team to start with was a Fire team.
Now, let me tell you exactly which monsters I used and why I used them.
Let's go!
The Summoner:
The summoner I used in my battle was Tarsa, a fire summoner.
His ability is to increase the attack power of all friendly attackers and also increase the health of all friendly monsters.
These are two great abilities, and it was very important for me to use a summoner like him in a battle like this!
The First Monster: Living Lava
Living Lava is an amazing monster!
It is my favorite monster to use as an attacker in almost all of my battles with a fire team.
Here are its stats:
- Health: 6
- Shield: 2
- Speed: 1
- Attack: 3
Living Lava is a great monster to use because it has a lot of health, a shield, and a high attack stat.
Living Lava has a great ability called "Shield" This ability makes all attacks on Living Lava weaker, except for attacks from mages
Luckily, my opponent didn't use any mages in their team!
Living Lava costs 7 mana to summon, but it's a great value for its amazing abilities.
I highly recommend using Living Lava if you are looking for a powerful attacker for your fire team.
The Second Monster: Furious Chicken
I use Furious Chicken in my small battles.
I put it in the second position after my main attacker. The main goal of Furious Chicken is to waste the opponent's time and distract them from attacking the monsters in the later positions.
Furious Chicken costs 0 mana to summon!
The Third Monster: Serpentine Spy
Serpentine Spy is one of the best monsters that doesn't require a high mana cost. It has many unique abilities, including:
- Health: 1
- Attack: 2
- Speed: 3
I care a lot about speed in my battles, so Serpentine Spy is a great choice for me.
Serpentine Spy also has a unique ability called "Opportunity." This ability allows Serpentine Spy to target the weakest monster on the enemy team.
Serpentine Spy costs 3 mana to summon, which is a good price for its abilities.
The Fourth Monster: Halfling Alchemist
I used this amazing defender in the last position!
I discovered this monster late in my battles with one of my opponents who was using it, and since then it has become a staple in many of my battles.
It has these abilities:
- Health: 1
- Shield: 1
- Speed: 1
- Attack: 1
It also has the amazing ability called "Halving" which makes it very special against strong attackers.
The cost of this monster is 2 mana, which is an excellent price and you can use it in many battles.
What happened during the battle and how did things go?
As I told you earlier, I was lucky that my opponent didn't use a team of mages, because they would have easily defeated me by bypassing my first attacker's "Shield" ability.
My opponent used the same summoner that I used, but he used different monsters:
- In the first position: Xenith Monk
- In the second position: Tenyii Striker
- In the third position: Uraeus
My opponent tried to rely on monsters with the "Sneak" ability to attack my team from behind, and they succeeded.
However, my front attacker was very strong and kept fighting until the very end, which is what made me victorious in the end.
