Already in October 2019 the Splinterlands kickstarter campaign was launched, and since then we, the whole family, @jaki01, @kobold-djawa and our three years old daughter, @steem-queen, were eagerly waiting to finally hold the physical cards and the Encyclopedia of the Splinters written by @chrisroberts and @carrieallen in our hands.
Yesterday the time had come and the joy was huge: the package delivered from the USA had reached our home despite the adverse circumstances caused by the corona virus pandemia.
The cards, and especially their gold foil versions, look fantastic and are of very high quality. The book contains many beautiful illustrations and certainly very interesting texts, although I haven't had much time to read yet.
Special thanks to @carrieallen and @chrisroberts (also on behalf of our little daughter, who was very happy to find herself in the book) for including the figure "PRINCESS JANA" in the encyclopedia (on page 192), which was designed with our wishes in mind. Of course it also would be a great pleasure to see this book character implemented as a playable digital card in future!

Bereits im Oktober 2019 wurde die Splinterlands-Kickstarter-Kampagne ins Leben gerufen, und seitdem warteten wir, die ganze Familie, @jaki01, @kobold-djawa und unsere dreijährige Tochter, @steem-queen, sehnsüchtig darauf, endlich die physischen Karten und die Enzyklopädie der Splinter von @chrisroberts und @carrieallen in Händen zu halten.
Gestern war es dann soweit und die Freude groß: Das aus den USA gelieferte Paket hatte trotz der aufgrund der Coronaviruspandemie widrigen Umstände unser Zuhause erreicht.
Die Karten, und insbesondere deren Goldfolienversionen, sehen fantastisch aus und sind von hoher Qualität. Das Buch enthält viele schöne Abbildungen und sicher sehr interessante Texte, wobei ich bisher noch gar nicht viel Zeit zum Lesen hatte.
Ganz besonders bedanken möchte ich mich (auch im Namen unserer Tochter, die sehr glücklich darüber war, sich selbst im Buch wiederzufinden) bei @carrieallen und @chrisroberts für die Aufnahme der Figur "PRINCESS JANA" in die Enzylopädie (auf Seite 192), bei deren Gestaltung unsere Wünsche wohlwollend berücksichtigt wurden. Natürlich wäre es eine große Freude, diesen Buch-Charakter zukünftig auch als spielbare digitale Karte umgesetzt zu sehen!
Jetzt wünsche ich viel Spaß beim Betrachten der Bilder! :)

Jetzt müssen wir nur noch hoffen, dass Splinterlands richtig erfolgreich wird und die Karten und das Buch irgendwann mal richtig viel wert sind.
Das wäre doch sehr geil, wenn Splinterlands irgendwann so populär wie Game of Throne wird. Die Karten werden dann dwfinitiv sehr wertvoll 😄.

First of all, I must accept that I didn't read your posts about the Splinterlands and the cards in detail before because I don't know much about it and I have no idea how to play the game. But, when I saw the photos of your little princess in this post, I told myself that I must read your article thoroughly this time..... ;))
Oh! It's really great and special that the figure "PRINCESS JANA" is in the encyclopedia. The figure is very beautiful and your little princess is really cute. Yeah! The right words, "obviously fascinated reader", I absolutely agree. I can imagine how she felt when she first saw her figure in the book. And I'm very happy, too.
Besides, it seems that she is very much interested in the cards and I'm quite sure that she will be your great competitor in this game in the near future. (apart from the chess) ;)))))

Wow! The dividing line between the real world and virtual world is getting thinner! In the future we’ll be able to travel in both worlds at the same time physically!
