Knowledge is power

So here's something i only discovered a short while ago.

When playing your ranked battles, you can always see the recently played splinter of your opponent.
This has always been a great way for you to decide what you would like to play, to maybe counter their favourite play style.

One think i kinda found out by accident though, was when i hovered the mouse over one of the recently played splinters, i could not only see what splinter, but i could also see what cards they played in those hands.

What? That's insane.
How the hell have i missed this before. Is this why they always seem to be able to counter my hand so easily? Oh the world has opened up and now my splinter friends, i can play.

The issue i had before i made this amazing discovery (which is probably written somewhere, but i just didn't read it), is that i could tell the splinter, but it was the summoner they played that would determine what i should play to counter.
It's still guess work of course, but there is a higher degree of chance, that my guess would be right.
Let's face it. If you're playing the earth splinter and you have Mylor, there is no way you're not going to play it.
Trouble is, before i could see if they had Mylor or not, i had to assume they did and that would determine what i would play and how i would arrange my deck. When it turned out they didn't, i would often lose.
Now i know. With some degree of certainty.
It also shows me what level these cards they are playing are. This is invaluable information.
So. Do yourselves a favour players. Check this before you build your deck. You have over 2 minutes to build, so taking a few seconds to check this before you start will save you much heartache.
Look, sometimes it's just going to show you that they are playing something you have no way of beating. Meh. That is going to happen from time to time.
But i for one, now enjoy this little taste of information.
As the saying goes splinter fiends. Knowledge is power.

Stay healthy. Stay playing. Stay nice.

Jack Out.
