Splinterlands Art Contest Week 284! - Beatrix Ironhand

Hi guys! Welcome to my new post for this week's entry in the Splinterlands art challenge where I decided to enter with a drawing of Beatrix Ironhand.

Beatrix Ironhand is an Epic Earth Element card from the Untamed Edition Packs.

She has a ranged attack with the ability to attack at close range, meaning she can attack even when in the first position.

Steps:

Since Beatrix is a girl, I decided to give her a cute pose and instead of doing a jutsu sign, she's doing a peace sign.

I started by drawing the outline using basic steps.

Once I completed the basic outline, unlike before where I immediately made the outline thicker, this time I didn't.

I then added base colors behind the outline, dividing the colors to easily identify what to color.

After finishing the base outline, I shaded it using the light and dark technique.

As usual, I used a black background.

After coloring and shading, I decided to add a rough sketch effect to the outline to give it a shadowy look.
