In this video I am going to push back against the tension and toxic negativity aimed toward Splinterlands
progress and development in 2024. We will accomplish this goal by listing and outlining many of the most impactful upgrades
aimed towards new player user advances. The team has been VERY active, the progress is noteworthy, and frankly it is incorrect to suggest otherwise. Certainly more growth is desireable, but let's not pretend these accomplishments are underwhelming or unimpressive.

Our game and this team have an amazing vision, and have proven their desire and talent time and again, let's express gratitude where its due, even if we are ultimately also asking for more to come. If that sounds interesting, stick around and stay tuned. Let's get into it!

As always, thank you for your time and attention, have an amazing day and God bless.

Great job Dwayne! We need more appreciation for the team and the things they’ve accomplished. It’s too easy to find the faults. Thanks for taking the time to find the positives bro. We need 1,000 people like you in this community. Appreciate you.

Bro appreciate your kindness. Can't wait for our next chat.

For sure. Let’s chat on discord and find a date next month. 💪

Jimmy! Excellent video, thank you for making this. The team has been doing excellent work over the past year completely overhauling and improving the website. Head on over to the UI discord channel, it's one of the best ones! LilyFire and crew have been incredibly responsive to player requests and much gratitude is shared here for the hard work we see coming to fruition.
But, saying the NPE is 'here' jumps the gun just a bit imo. Why do I say this? Because the team is not ready to spend any money marketing yet, they still even say in THs that would be a waste to market the game before it's ready.

Which begs the question... how do they define 'ready'?
We don't know the answer! Even Matt said recently that THEY haven't clarified this yet internally...

I have to suspect it has to do with having an interactive tutorial that guides the new player through everything they need to know... basically get the website to the point where a new player can onboard him/herself, easily, without the need of a helping human hand for guidance.
So I do agree with you that the team has been working hard this year and made some EXCELLENT QOL and UI upgrades that will undoubtedly benefit new players (as well as existing players), but until the team feels ready to spend money marketing the game, I would say the NPE has not been achieved. We're getting there, but we still have along way to go, I'm afraid, before the team feels ready to push marketing.
