My Gladius Case Opening

What's up Splinterlands community everyone! It is been a while since I have shared the results of my Gladius Case openings. It is a fulfilling achievement every time I was able to saved up enough Merits through active participation in Guild Brawls, climbing up the ranked ladders in order to reach higher tiers which grants loot chest upon tier promotion where the loot chests could contain merits and lastly saving up the Glints from winning ranked matches and purchasing the Merits inside the Glint shop. There are now a lot of ways to save and stock up on Merits which makes purchasing Gladius Case more easier now which is very different before when the only way to gather Merits is through participating on Guild Brawls only. These updates are very helpful not only for veteran players in the game but also on the new players in the game that helps them collect Gladius Cards more easier by actively playing the game.

These are the Gladius cards that I got when I opened my latest Gladius Case. This Gladius Case was a good one as it contains not only just a rare card but also an epic card which is hard to obtain which makes this Gladius Case opening more special. I was able to get 3 common, 1 rare and 1 epic Gladius cards. All of these cards are very powerful and useful not just on my Guild Brawls but also on my ranked battles. I will breakdown all the Gladius cards I got from this Gladius set and I will share my thoughts on these cards.

Liza Fox

This is a rare Gladius ranged unit in the death element. It has an exceptional amount of ranged damage which could potentially one shot the target enemy monster and triggers the Bloodlust ability. It also has a decent amount of health and nice amount of speed which compliments very well with its massive ranged damage. That amount of damage is a huge key to trigger the Bloodlust ability that makes this unit more powerful and destructive in the battlefield.

Hugo Strongsword

This is a common Gladius melee unit in the light element. It has a good amount of health and this unit serves as a frontline for the team. This unit has the Shield ability which gives the unit extra durability and effectiveness against melee and ranged damage enemy units. This unit can also serve as the main source of damage for the team if it was able to take down enemy units and triggers the Bloodlust ablity that boosts not only its health and armor but also its damage that it can deal.

Helmet Kharafax

This is a common Gladius unit in the light element that does not deal any damage to the enemy team. It has a low amount of health and it has an armor as well. This unit has the Scavenger ability which makes this unit more durable as the match progresses. This unit has a 2 mana cost which makes it a good filler for the team composition for the matches that has a very low mana available and if the team has slot that has not been filled yet.

Trapp Falloway

This is an epic Gladius melee damage unit in the death element. It has a massive amount of melee damage and this unit has the weaken ability which reduces the health of all enemy monster by 1 at the beginning of the match. That ability compliments very well with the Bloodlust ability of this unit as it makes the enemy team more vulnerable which allows Trapp Falloway to take down the enemy monster more efficiently.

Katrelba Gobson

This is a common Gladius melee unit in the earth element. It has a low amount of health and is very vulnerable when targeted by the enemy team, This unit has the Sneak ability which allows this unit to strike the enemy monster that is placed on the last position of the enemy team. That ability is enhanced by the Double Strike ability which allows this unit to strike twice on the enemy monster in the backline of the enemy team. This two abilities makes the Bloodlust ability more favorable to be triggered as this unit has the potential to take down enemy units each round.

This is a very nice Gladius Case opening for me. I was able to obtain an epic and rare Gladius cards in the Gladius Case which makes the saving of Merits very worth it. All the Gladius Cards I got in these Gladius Case are very familiar to me, as I am already obtained these cards and I am utilizing it very well not only on my Guild brawls but also on my ranked battles as well. Being able to obtain an additional copy of these cards are very important as it allows me to get close to upgrade these Gladius cards to higher levels which not only enhances the stats of the Gladius unit but also in order to unlock additional abilities on the unit and make it more powerful in the battlefield.
