RE: I am indeed taking a break from playing Splinterlands (2022.02.06)

I don't think you should give up, you just need to refine your strategy. And I'm saying this as someone who has been playing the game for the past 10 days and not since late 2018 like you. What I've noticed in the Bronze leagues is that we are mostly playing bots, so I try to get into that "bot" mindset 😄, and try to emulate what a bot would do with the give mana limit. I was also on a bad losing streak the other day and started skipping the matches, and it definitely makes things worse as you tilt more and more, and generate a ton of loses in just a few mins. I think I dropped from Bronze I to almost Bronze III then but then I got back on track, and I'm currently in Silver II with 200-300 rating above the Silver I threshold (I don't have CP for Silver I). So do not give up, just take it easy. You can't let Skynet win... 😝

The main problem is the fact that it is not worth it to play. Even if I would reach Silver III, which is currently my max tier, the rewards would be still close to (or literally) zero (receiving a bunch of alchemy and legendary potion charges). This is why I decided to lease out my cards instead of playing: Leasing out Splinterlands cards instead of playing (2022.02.06).

Nah, the rewards for Silver III and beyond are not bad at all. Check out my last 2 Silver II dailies:

But yeah, if you really, really do not feel like playing at all, renting your collection out is clearly the best way to go.
