RE: Maxing out summoners is starting to pay off

in Splinterlands2 years ago

I'm glad you decided to max out your summoners and old reward cards and congrats for reaching CL2! Seems like we have the same track history with reaching our top-level a long time ago, and now back to CL2 at the same time.

As you said, it makes a huge difference between level 6 and level 8 summoners, with maxed allowed monsters for each. It may be a big step to invest for the higher tiers, but that's the only way to be competitive.

What about level 7? THat's kind of a level that I would like to reach for my summoners... As I'm getting to the Diamond 1 lately with lvl5 and lvl6 summoners, I suppose that lvl7 summoners could help me reach at least Champion 3... It's just my guess, but what do you think about that?

It could. I play 2 of my legendary summoners at level 3, but that's a big disadvantage against someone who plays the same summoner at max level.

For any summoner, if you don't have them at max level, you can't use monsters at max level, and often they pick up a nice boost at max level.

I do understand that, but that lvl7 is something between lvl3 and lvl4 legendary summoners... Anyways, I will try to get to the max lvl summoners step by step as I have to lvl up ordinary cards to the max...

Yep. You have time to use them at level 7 until you catch up with monsters. And you'll see if that's enough for your needs.

Every level brings an additional advantage if you have the cards developped enough. When playing in Diamond 1 and CL, I always realized that I had no chance against fully developped decks. Now at least from a card point of view, I'm at a similar level. This doesn't mean that I win all my games lol.

Playing cards at max level is making a huge difference. They have all an advantage there and if you play with a whole deck the advantages multiply. And it's kind of a game leveler because most of the good players have these cards at max level already :-)

Exactly. And without a maxed deck, even if you compensate with skill, you would do better with a maxed deck.
