Splinterlands~Social Media Challenge~A Sneak Peak Of The New Reward Cards

Am not really on to reward cards because I haven't acquired any yet ever since I joined splinterlands, but with the new update coming in this is gonna be huge.

So what are Reward cards? Basically reward cards are cards that are soulbound. They are called soulbound because they can only be gotten from rarity draws, and loot chests in the reward shop, they cannot be bought, sold, rented, nor delegated.

So here is where the update kicks in: The Chaos Legion reward card will be fading out pretty soon, the new reward card called the Rebellion soulbound reward card will be coming in August 15th, and once it's being released the old one will vanish.

But there is still a way to hold on to it, and that is once the new Rebellion reward card is release on August 15th, the Chaos legion reward card can be retain by unbinding it, once unbounded it can then be used, rented, delegated, traded, sold and used on land.

Unbinding Chaos legion Reward Cards

Usually unbinding these set of reward cards are not free, and the cost of unbinding these cards are base on power per BCX

For the first 29 days, it will cost 10 times a card's power-per-BCX in Dark Energy Crystals (DEC) to unbind it. However it will cost the same to unbind a regular-foil Drybone Raider with 11 BCX as one with 12 or more BCX.

The sad news however is after the first 29 days elapsed everyday the price to unbind a card will increase by a multiple of 1. And then after 180 days the Chaos legion reward card will no longer be unbindable

A Reveal

I've seen a few Rebellion reward card being revealed by most Ambassadors, And each card behold beauty , it's a clear piece nothing I've seen before,

The ambassador reveals various Cards on X and I suggest you follow them if you want a sneaky peak of the card so as not to get caught unaware.

My favorites

For now am just gonna share 3 of my favorite set of Rebellion reward cards revealed by various Ambassadors that will be released August 15th 2024

1.Olivia Of The Brook

Aspect: Caster

One thing that always intrigues me is a storyline, and with Olivia's storyline it got me wondering if it's fiction or nonfiction. I love the fact it has two types of attack though, the speed and health is also top notch.

2. Nimbledook Explorer

Actually this was the first card I saw, but I wasn't aware it was part of the Rebellion reward card, seeing the fact that it doesn't possess any of the new abilities being listed, I thought maybe it was one of the old Chaos cards.

@morenow was the ambassador that first revealed this card, what captivated me is the clear animation of this card.

Though He doesn't possess any attack which made me love him more. Here is the trick: if the player is smart enough he would always use this card and team up with a card that has the Weapons training ability such as Moxian Rebel.

3. Thunderhoof Nomad

I just love those smiles, @ANK12C was the one to first reveal this card giving out some giverway if you guess the stats right .

What attracted me to this card is the smile, the lore however reminded me of Ancient times in movies when humans were half animals too.

Thunderhoof will serve better in battles that are given low mana cost to work with.
