Spending Glint on Epic Splinterlands Cards

The ongoing season for the game will be ending in around three days from now, and since I'm not playing the battle in the current season so I thought why shouldn't I would spend some time in the shop to buy some stuff. It is a good idea because I'm already holding a good number of Glint tokens in my account, so there is no point holding these tokens; rather, I can go ahead and spend those tokens in the market to buy some cards, which can turn out to be a good addition to the game account.

Currently, I hold more than 800K glint tokens in my account, and I think it's a good amount, so I'm just checking what the options of labels for me in the shop are. Because the current season will be ending in three days, the restock will also happen once this season ends, or you can say at the beginning of the new season. There is some threshold applied every season, so before that happens, I want to take this opportunity and do some shopping in the reward shop using my glint token, which is like an in-game currency.

There are four options primarily available in the shop on top of everything, which are Common, Rare, Epic, and Legendary draws. So I am thinking that I should go for the Epic draw purchase this time. I can buy a maximum of 25 cards in one go, and the cost for each card is 15,000 tokens. So, if I go for the 25, which is the maximum batch I can go for, then the cost is going to be 375K tokens. I have enough balance to pay for this purchase, so I'm gonna do this right away.

I have completed the purchase, and now it's time for me to open those cards to see what I have got out of it, and I am going to get 25 cards in the Epic rarity. Epic is a good rarity in the game to own, and since I'm trying to accumulate more cards so holding more cards is important so that I can develop my existing card collection, which will help me play battles in the higher league.

All these cards are from the latest editions in the game and I'm not really much familiar about these cards but I think this is where I need to put some efforts and learn about these cards and their abilities to see how I can utilise those cards once I start playing with these new cards and preferably these can be used in the modern type of battles. Modern is the format of the game that I have not played for a long time, but when I started playing the game, I was playing in Modern, and the reason why that I was given a bunch of cards by my mentor to play with, and all those cards were from the latest editions.

Now I'm playing in the wild because of the reason why cards are not available in the rental market. I can get the cards I need from the older editions, but on the new editions, it's a problem of availability, and if some of the cards are also available, then I see that the rental charges are higher compared to the cards that are OK for gameplay in the wild format. This is the reason why I continue to play in the wild format of the game, even though I know that I need to pay $2 for the wild pass, but that's OK, since I can use all the cards in this format of the game without worrying about the availability, and I can get those cards at the reasonable rental charges.
