Splinterlands Fan Art // Week 182// Furious Chicken

Hi Splinterlands Community, I'm here to day to share my @splinterlands Fan art my Entry for Week 182 fan art contest.

I'm Evelyn and this is my Furious Chicken Fan art

I will discuss the details of my art while telling you of the the steps i made in doing this art.

Detailed Steps by Steps of my Drawing

First thing I did is to draw a chicken with an angry face, just like ng splinterlands lore says about this chicken.
I used a Sharp Pen tool on the Medibang app with the line thickness set to 3. I used sharp pen tool because its good special at the end of each line, you can see that the both ends of the line are smaller than the rest parts of the lines.

Then I tried Adding Simple shadow linings, This is one of the first drawing trick that I learned when I was a kid😆 you can see that the lines I made is like crosses but it serves its purpose, my intention in doing this is to portray the shadows that I need to add during coloring.

Coloring

Fair Warning!!! The Pictures below might be looks boring for others but This is me trying My best to show the detailed steps I made.

I began my coloring process in the Beak, I colored it with dark orange.

Then I added a darker color along the lines of the drawings it also serves as the shadows.

Then I added light colors on the center and the top parts of the beak.
and put some glow effects on other parts.

Then I started coloring the teeth. yeah, I know chickens don't have teeth but putting teeth kind of help me to show the he is angry.

Then This pictures show the tool I used for the next step.

What I did was I re outlined the Beak to have a better look on it.

Then I colored the wattle, I colored it in light red.

Then I colored the comb same color of the wattle which is light red.
And it Starting to look like a chicken now😂.

This picture Show on what tool I used and the color I selected and how much opacity of the colour.

I placed the colored I selected that is shown is the previous photo, in the other lines of the wattle at parts under the beak.

Then I added a light color red on some parts on the middle.

Same of what I did in the wattle I also colored the edges of the comb in Dark red and added light red color on the middle part.

Then I colored The eyes, Black color and added with color on small parts to make it looks like looking at you while reading this😆.

Then I colored the rest of the body with a pinkish light color.

Then I added Gray color the serves as the shadows.

And Lastly is adding light colors on most of the body or the feathers.

About the Background

After Reading that I decided to have a little funny detail on the background😂. My original Idea was to put a sign saying "No more KFC"
but I don't want to put any commercial brand on it co'z it might be illegal.
