Cheap Monsters with Hidden Abilities to Play in Silver League with the WATER Splinter

In silver league, provided you have a maxed out summoner (Common 5, Rare 4, Epic 3 and Legendary 2), you can summon COMMON monsters up to LEVEL 5. Some common cards acquire a second or a first ability between LEVEL 2 and 5.

This serie of posts focuses on cheap common cards that acquire a second ability before or at LEVEL 5.

I focus only on cards that cost less than 1$ / BTX based on peakmonsters stats at the time of writing.

This is the third post of this serie focusing on 2 cards of the WATER splinter (links to the other posts at the end of this post).

TORTISIAN FIGHTER

Tortisian fighter, one of the cheapest monster of the game, acquires SHIELD (Reduced damage from Melee and Ranged attacks) at LEVEL 4. For only 4 MANA, you got this ability plus 2 MELEE ATTACK, 3 LIFE and 2 ARMOR, making Tortisian Fighter at LEVEL 4 a really usefull tank to use in low mana cap games. Also, only 2 GOLD are required to bring Tortisian Fighter to LEVEL 4.

WAVE RUNNER

Wave runner aquires KNOCK OUT (Does double damage when attacking an enemy that is stunned) at LEVEL 5. In silver league, only two monsters can stunt ennemie monsters : Medusa (Water) at LEVEL 3 and Gorilax Magus (Dragon) at LEVEL 1. However, both monsters have fewer speed than Wave Runner, which means that Wave Runnner will never be able to do double damage during the first round. Still, this combo remains interesting.
