That statement got to be one of the most honest entries I've seen here (the one about the end of season rentals).
People tend to forget that the ROI is not usually a couple of weeks or days.. I believe in splinterlands and I'm doing exactly what you say you have been doing, slowly buying cards and building my deck, slowly getting better and gaining my own power without too many rentals. And whatever extra funds I get from loot chests or even the hive, I reinvest into my deck, I hope I can get to 100k power without rentals eventually. I believe this is the best course of action for me. Thanks for the time you take and the advices you give to the community.

I think that splinterlands in a year will be better than what it is today, more players, more cards, a lot of new stuff, I don't know about the price of the tokens though, or the cards, that will depend on the whole crypto market, and that's impossible to predict. But I believe the game and the community will be even better.
