The Ruleset
- Rulesets - Heavy Metal & Equalizer
- Mana Cap - 30
- Active Elements -
Here's my starting lineup
Summoner: Helios Matriarch
- My summoner pick for this battle was actually based on only one monster really and that was Aves Sturgis
- To pair Aves Sturgis with Gladius monster I needed the Conscript ability
- The reason I played dragon Conscript summoner and not the Light one was that I just prefer speed over armor and also speed is useful in almost any battle versus armor which is totally useless in battles where your enemy plays a lot of magic damage
- Conscript - One extra gladiator card may be used in battle
1st Position: Imperial Knight
- Imperial Knight was my main tanks for this battle
- Main reason I like Imperial Knight here a lot is his Heal ability
- Also he has some great stats for being a 7 mana monster
- Void Armor - Magic attacks hit this Unit's armor before its Health
- Heal - Each round, restores 1/3 of max health (rounded down)
2nd Position: Sunkai Harvester
- From now on almost the entire team was low mana monsters as the mana cap was not that high
- So Sunkai Harvester is just a simple great damage light tank monster with Reach
- Reach - Can use melee attacks from the second position
3rd Position: Uraeus
- Uraeus is possible one of my most played and most liked monster in the entire game
- He is just so simple but useful
- A lot of great stats and great ability to go with them for only 3 mana
- Sneak - Targets the enemy unit in the last position
4th Position: Helmet Kharafax
- Next up in line is this amazing Gladius monsters
- At first sight his placement might seem a little of but the next monster will tell the whole story
- On his own he might not be the best monster as without any damaging aspects his Bloodlust is totally useless
- So if we could give him some attacks for damaging abilities he would be an amazing monster for only 2 mana
- Bloodlust - +1 to all stats after dealing a killing blow
- Scavenger - +1 health and max health each time any unit is defeated
- Void - 50% less damage (rounded up) from magic attacks or 0 damage from magic attacks of 1 power
5th Position: Aves Sturgis
- Aves Sturgis is my staple piece of this team
- Thanks to his amazing ability both adjacent no-attack units grant his damage and make them much stronger
- His own stats are not the greatest but I did not really mind as his ability was the only thing I was after
- Weapons Training - Gives attack type and power to adjacent no-attack units (max of 3 power)
6th Position: Albahoo Forester
- Albahoo Forester was the last monster I picked for my team
- Main reason for him was that I only had 2 mana left and I needed someone with no attacks so he would grant the Weapons Training
- Also the reason I did not but him in front of Aves Sturgis was that if my enemy decided to play any Sneak monsters he would tank it not the monster with Bloodlust
- Return Fire - Returns 50% of damage to attacker (rounded up) when hit by a ranged attack
Starting board
- At first look the teams looked quite similar
- Then I realized I was 1 level up on the summoner, higher level monster, I had more damage and because I had one more monster I also had more hp on my team
- All of that combined I was quite sure the battle was quite heavily in my favor
- But my predictions could still be off by a mile so lets start the battle and have a look
Here's how the battle went
1st & 2nd Round
- After first two rounds the board was still looking quite the same as in the start
- We both had lost only our first tanks but I also manage to bring his next monster to half hp
- The start was looking quite good already lets see if I managed to hold my lead
3rd & 4th Round
- In the 3rd round my enemy Bloodlust monster managed to get a take down so he got buffed and that scared me for a second
- Then I saw that he was only level 3 and did not have Void like my one did, that calmed my nerves and after that I know 100% that I had won the battle
- But that said lets still keeps watching as the battle is only half done
5th & 6th Round
- After the next 2 rounds there was nothing really to look at anymore
- I had taken down his Bloodlust monster and damaged his Aves Sturgis to half hp
- As I had Void he was only doing 2 damage per round and that meant I had so much time to take down the last 2 enemy monsters
- Now I just needed to wait for the last couple of rounds and the enjoy my victory screen
7th & 8th Round
- It took me 2 turns to kill my enemies last two standing monsters
- After both of them had fallen I took the victory

Summary
- This battle was definitely heavily one sided but still fun to watch
- The strategy to take away from this battle has to be the amazing Weapons Training and Bloodlust combo
- Even tho in this battle I failed to get any takedowns with the buffed Bloodlust monster I still think this shows how powerful this battle could be
