Hello Hive gaming community! I'm updating my Splinterlands game diary again. The post also counts as my entry for the Splinterlands Social Media Challenge. I have been joining the brawls in my new guild. Our leader delegates me cards to fight in higher frays.

⚔️🛡️ My Last Guild Brawl🛡️⚔️

I had two wins in our last guild brawl and our guild was in third place. I'm not content with my results and will try to improve. I'm still not used to the cards delegated to me as I play in Frontier. We're in the middle of another brawl and I'm assigned to gold foil fray.

⚔️🛡️ New Gladiator Cards🛡️⚔️

I got new gladiator cards after our brawl. The new cards are very good but I can't use them in my current gold foil fray.

⚔️🛡️ Quora Towershead🛡️⚔️

By far my favorite card that I wish I can use in Frontier. She is a perfect card for me. She has two attacks, a crazy amount of life and she can heal herself.

⚔️🛡️ Alfredo 🛡️⚔️

Another new card. Alfredo is not as great as Quora but he is only two mana. His attack is small so his use will be limited. Perhaps in matches with low mana requirement.

⚔️🛡️ Orella Abadon 🛡️⚔️

Another card with low mana. I like this better than Alfredo because he has more attack and has an ability, sneak.

⚔️🛡️ Favorite Battles 🛡️⚔️

The battle was for 29 mana with Global warming modifier. I mostly use Earth in this modifier because the archon adds health to all units. I will break down each of the cards I used when I played this match.

Dread Tafarian has high health and can heal itself. This is an essential ability in global warming modifier. Survival is the name of the game.

Mad Gearhead has high health and high attack. He has no abilities for survival, instead he helps by attacking and decreasing the opponent's health.

Time Bandit has high health and takes away the burning status from Dread Tafarian. Its cleanse ability is essential in keeping Dread Tafarian alive in this match.

The opponent has higher level cards. His cards have the beautiful glowing golden design. He chose Water who have lower health but has higher attack. The match has opposite strategies. I was concentrated on surviving when the opposing team was concentrating on attacking.

The opponent easily disposed of my cards but the burning effect did the job of disposing the opponent cards for me. It helped that my cards had healing and cleanse that removed the burning effect and survived the match.

⚔️🛡️ Favorite Battles 🛡️⚔️

Another match against higher level opposition. It's for 30 mana and Briar Patch modifier. I chose Water because it's units are focused on magic. The team I'm against with had maximum level cards but I think they are a bad match against magic. Even though my archon was level one and his is level four I still got the win.

Asel Alagosdil no attack and has Divine shield. She has one shield and four health.

Grand Consul Minion is a range type. It has one attack.

Lunaki Howler has two magic attack.

Mystic Scaleweaver is my strongest card. Has three attacks and slows my opponent.

The opposing team has Fire element which is best with melee attackers. They will be penalized in this match so he used ranged attacks instead. His Alan Musketeer has a total attack of four because it attacks two times per round.

In both battles, my cards were lower levels but I still pulled a win. Higher level cards are great but they don't mean it's an instant win. You still have to plan your strategy and not just lay the strongest cards on the table. I think this makes Splinterlands special that focus on strategy and not just individual card strength.
