I actually would be surprised if it was discontinued. It's actually crazy how alive the community still is and there certainly is a core player base who will stick around or do some kind of 'community takeover' in case the main devs would pull the plug.

The thing is that they still don't understand how bad the experience is for new or casual players, I hope at some point in 2025 they will and adjust things to make that good enough.
