Hi friends,
I finally reached Silver I and got some reward cards, but I still mostly rely on my Chao Legion cards. It’s nice to get free loot chests, but knowing these reward cards might not be usable after next year really dampens my motivation to keep playing. All the time and effort I put in might not be worth it if I can’t get anything back.
As for the latest proposal, players overwhelmingly voted to halt Soul Keep rewards, not wanting to share rewards with Soul Keep players. I imagine dedicated Soul Keep players must be pretty upset. But for those who just rent Soul Keep assets, it probably doesn’t affect them much—they can just stop renting. After observing Splinterlands for so long, I've noticed that whenever there’s a big change, some players decide to leave, but hardly any new players join. I even brought a few friends who love gaming to try Splinterlands, but they didn’t stick around. Besides Hive being a bit complex to navigate, Splinterlands' main attraction is the chance to earn money. They just used starter cards and rented cards, didn’t buy any packs, and when they didn’t make any money after a while, they quit. Makes you wonder—where exactly do Splinterlands’ rewards come from?
