I greet you fellow splinterlanders 8]
this morning was kinda frustrating.
to maximize my (rather low) sps airdrop, i only rent for 1 day at the moment, so there is always a need to check my rentals on certain times a day.
Unfortunately it seems, that even the last renter has realized, that the prices at season start where super low in comparison to the market today. so i see most of my old and cheap rentals being canceled. this brings me in quite a bad situation economy wise, because i have to make new rentals with the horrific prices at the moment.
until now i had 3 splinter quite strong (rather 2.5 splinters because the 3rd was kinda an emergency splinter).
This isnt possible anymore with the current prices for me. So i had to give up death/dragon and am now going along with only earth and live.
We will see where this takes me and even now im at a whooping 1900dec per day.
So today got a water quest (which is quite bad for me) but i got lucky and rerolled into the neutral quest.
Luckily i picked up some nice and fast wins which brought me on a winstreak and damn near diamond 1 (8 rank points short). So i already had the 14 chests in my sight.
But unfortunately i then went on a small loss streak that set me back a good amount.
Ultimately i decided to open the 12 chests for today and here is how it went:
so i am sitting at like 1600dec to go for the day which will hurt my ecr quite hard i suppose but lets see how it turns out.
i guess depending on the outcome, i will have to settle down a bit and maybe resort to questing in diamond3/gold1
until then
happy dec hunting :)
What kind of return are you getting from your rental cards, do you make the dec back from winning the battles?
With the last days yielding relatevily low quest rewards and at the same time rentals fees going up its really hard to break even at this point. So as i wrote i had to cut the third splinter from my lineup. This in return makes it harder to keep my league.
To be fair at the moment im really hoping for that 60 chests at the seasons end...
