Splinterlands Paths to Power: Never stop playing!

Hello splinter nerds

Splinterlands is a game I have been playing for 8 years, and I have witnessed many changes happen in the game, from one card edition to another, from one token to multiple tokens used in the game, and I also witnessed how we moved from one format to having more formats.

I witnessed the explosion in 2021, and I was among the lucky ones who benefited from it. I have been managing the emp-warden account since it was created, and from splitting the reward, I started to build the sps in the account, and now we can boast of over 1.3million sps staked in the account, purely from earnings in rank and tournament!.

I love round figures, so I do not plan to stop staking the sps until we get to 2m staked, which makes me a millionaire in sps too. That is quite an achievement and will be better when sps explode and change my story once more.

I know how tempting it is to sell those sps while we earn it, but I believe strongly in Splintershards, and I see it going above $0.5 in bullrun. It can go more than this obviously, but as the saying goes, big expectations lead to disappointment.

No matter how bad you are at something, if you do not stop it, you will definitely get better at it, and such is my Splinterlands story. At first, I didn't understand the game and ended up selling my cards twice. However, I decided to give it one more try, and this time, I got the hang of it. That was the beginning of a beautiful and endless journey in the realm of Splinter Lands.

I learn from the fast learners like Khan Dayyaaz, Akomoajong, and Xawi. Before I knew it, I climbed the ladder and was able to claim the top position on the leaderboard a few times, even though it was not an easy feat with the likes of Jacekw, smk played by Akomoajong, and Bji. The leaderboard was fun then, and we can play as many battles as possible without the fear of running out of energy.

If there is any advice I will give to a newbie on Splinterlands, it is not to give up. Beginning may be confusing or hard, but as long as you keep playing, you will master the gameplay. If you do not have funds to keep up, master your skills and seek scholarship accounts. This is another beauty of Splinterlands: it allows investors and players to co-exist. We have people who have the money to invest but have no time to play the game, and we have people who have all the time in the world but no money. When these two meet, they make good partners.

To round it up, here is a very low mana battle, and I won it using monsters with low mana rather than using 1 or 2 big mana monsters.

The opponent and I used the fire splinter, but our choice of summoner was different; he used the dragon summoner to summon the monsters, while I used Fithe Bladestone a fire summoner that gives void and +2 armor.

My formation

Hlafling Refugee was my tank, suitable for low mana cap battle because it is a 1 mana card and it can self heal, but just incase the healing was not enough, I place Inept healer with the corrupted healing in the second position, it also has void and magic reflect incase the opponent decide to show up with magic monsters.

Elanor Bravefoot wields power that costs her nothing; it is a zero mana card, and her only weakness is the weary ability, but her usefulness in battle beats any weariness... Aside from the fact that it attacks the opponent, it can also be a means to delay the opponent's attack on my main attacker,s which was what I did in the battle.

Blazebeard Merc and Kha'zi Conjurer are my last two cards. These monsters have an ability called incendiary, which applies burning, and it can spread to other monsters. As much as these monsters are good, that ability is a big problem but still, I decided to risk it all.

Learning never ends on Splinterlands, more rules, more cards, so you just have to keep playing to stay skillful.
